but!! i hate leaving my au's and stuff unfinished (even if the "ending" is just a wholeass essay of what i planned out under a readmore) so i'll probably come back to this au and finally get to the end of the current part... if my laptop (and my files) survive ;u;

so! *claps hands* the entire script for this arc is done and just needs some more edits/rewrites, and i’ve come to the decision that this will be the last arc i’ll actually make plot-following comics for

and by that, i mean after this arc, this blog will finally become what i’ve always meant it to be: a light-hearted, shippy blog where you just ask the characters questions and they answer

but the thing is that the next few updates are very uhhhh.... dialogue-heavy...... so i’m heavily considering making changes to how updates will look like

so i’m thinkin instead of the vertical comic style, i might just make them more like a picture book style (mostly text/dialogue, with a few images here and there) or maybe a different layout altogether if i can find one that seems more suitable... or i’ll just stick to the vertical style anyway if it feels like it’ll portray everything better, but we’ll see

i just wanted to warmup by drawing a couple of neos and gsanses but it turned into an experiment on how they’d look in a slightly more realistic style…. and then i added shading and rim lighting…. and then also i tried changing the lineart color where it hits the light b/c i’ve seen that a few times and wanted to try it out for myself…. also i tried out a new signature

hey y’all! so i know i’ve been updating this pretty much weekly until the end of the previous part, so since the next part’s gonna be more about neo and g (but mostly neo) doing some thinking, i’m gonna space out the updates a bit more (and also i’ve been wanting to finish another one of my au’s in a different fandom so i’ll probably prioritize that now that (most of?) the exposition for this blog/au is done)

so instead of weekly updates, it’ll either be bi-weekly or just once-a-month updates! but i’m leaning more towards bi-weekly updates, bc i don’t wanna lose the habit of drawing every week. fingers crossed
