I've been to Monkey Island 4 times, Defeated the Evil Undead Pirate Lechuck repeatedly, I've uncovered the gates of hell, cheated death 5 times, cured all pirates of the pox of Lechuck, put a stop to an evil carnival, destroyed an evil Australian land developer and his ultimate insult, discovered the worlds only talking monkey, and married the most beautiful governor in the world. and all before the age of 22. (This is a Fan Rp/Ask blog dedicated to the lovable Pirate Guybrush Threepwood!)

The Monkey Island Games But I Rate Them Purely By How Nice I Think Guybrush Looks

The Secret of Monkey Island (1990)

If you googled “guy who wants to be a pirate but sucks” this is the outfit you’d get. perfectly milquetoast. 5/10

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge (1991)

The addition of a Cool Pirate Coat to prove he’s not FULLY incompetent, plus a healthy dash of himbo energy. maybe too much? 8/10

The Curse of Monkey Island (1997)

I don’t hate it! The tragic loss of the himbo coat is noted though. 7/10

Escape from Monkey Island (2000)

what the fuck. 0/10

Tales of Monkey Island (2009)

a much more graceful transition into 3D! i like his hair and his stylized proportions, and that it’s based off his Monkey 2 sprite but with more of a mischievous feel. the perfect amount of himbo energy. really good, 10/10

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition (2009)

why would you do it like this. -8/10

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge: Special Edition (2010)
