Yes exactly, it's Monday and at the same time is also September. But do not despair! ☝🏻 ILT Production comes to your rescue with the first edition of the ILT Bookclub!
To summarize, what the heck is the ILT Bookclub? A daily, weekly or monthly reading challenge, on the model of the various reading challenges like Dracula Daily, but with a piece form Italian literature translated in English, so is open to everyone.
At first, I gathered some titles in the original post with the criteria of 1) public dominion and 2) english translation, then I opened a google poll to permit anyone to add more titles that they didn't see on the original list. Now, the poll is closed and below the post a complete list of all the titles is proposed: now it's up to you to decide which piece will be picked for the ILT Bookclub First edition. (I'll take only the titles that have both italian and english translation on public dominion for the first round, to simplify things).
The original choice was to post a normal poll here, but unfortunately all tumblr polls last just a week, so I opened a second google form and the only thing you have to do is to vote your preferred option, you'll find the link it at the end of the list. The only reason for this is because it's September, many of you are busy with work, university, other exams etc. so I'll give it more time to let all of you spread/spam the post and vote.

Second update: the other challenge, the ILT - Famous beefs edition, is postponed due to the little number of contributions that still have to reach an ideal quota for a pretty good challenge (the general list is in the original post with the new additions, and you can also find the poll to add yours or click here), BUT it's not abandoned! ☝🏻 I just considered that after the break of some months that ILT had, the Best Beefs tournament will start maybe after some months with the return of the usual posting, in parallel with the reading challenge.
