Jim: You’re right. But then maybe I would help plan and organize things. And help you manage your temper.

*Sebastian rolls his eyes.*

Sebastian: And I would be the one going to meetings and shit. Wouldn’t need anyone to look intimidating for me like you do.

*Sebastian laughs and pokes Jim’s nose.*

Jim: I’ve never cried in front of anyone.

Sebastian: Liar.

Jim: Well they don’t need to know about it.

Sebastian: He’s cried in front of me once. It was… heartbreaking.

Sebastian: For the record, that’s what we do on a regular basis. Nothing romantic about it.

Jim: Nonsense. It was plenty romantic. And then the next day, Sebby bought me chocolate that was on sale.

*Jim reads the question to himself as Sebastian walks out of the kitchen with a bottle in his hand.*

Sebastian: What do they want from us now?

Jim *emotionless*: They want to know about our parents.

*Sebastian’s hand tightens on the bottle.*

Sebastian: Do they? Alright.

*He sits beside Jim, who eyes him warily. Sebastian gestures for him to go on.*

Jim: Not much to tell on my end. Father was often too drunk to even realize he had a son. Let alone that he shouldn’t be beating him. And mother did nothing. Just cried too much.

Sebastian: And.

Jim: ... And I killed them. A few days after I went out on my own.

*There was a brief pause as Sebastian drank the reminder of the bottle.*

Sebastian: As for me, my mother died when I was young. Father was strict and withdrawn. I was a soldier. Never a son. Left the first chance I saw.

Jim: Well there you go. Tragic backstories and all.

*Jim reads the question and then smirks down at Sebastian. Sebastian just stares back at him.*

Jim: A dare is a dare, Sebastian.

*Jim thinks for a moment and then disappears to his room. He comes back with something behind his back.*

Jim: Don’t have a hair bow but I do have a bow tie.

*He positions it on Sebastian’s head and smiles.*

Jim: You look so cute, tiger.

*No sooner had he said that than a very human Sebastian was sitting in front of him, glaring at him, with the bow still on his head. He reaches up and pulls it off.*

Sebastian: Thank fuck that’s over.

*He gets up and walks to the kitchen.*

Sebastian: I need a drink.

*Jim is still sitting on the couch and cackling.*

Sebastian’s Thoughts: You’ve been mentally fucking singing Stayin’ Alive for twenty minutes straight. Give it a fucking rest.

*Jim ignores him and reads the question. There’s a stutter in his mental concert.*

Sebastian’s Thoughts: Kiss him again? I thought that I.... Wait a second.

*Jim looks over at him, eyes narrowing as Sebastian’s gleam mischievously.*

Jim: Don’t you dare, tiger.

Jim’s Thoughts: Not as a tiger anyway.

*Sebastian is already moving and then pounces on Jim. Jim tries to push him off as the cub licks his face. He finally manages to push him off.*

Sebastian’s Thoughts: That has to count.

Jim: Yes. Hopefully we won’t be able to read minds anymore.

*There’s a pause as they both test this and Jim sighs in relief.*

Jim: Thank fuck.
