The similarities between the Heart of NOVA and the Jamba Heart aren’t simply coincidental, and that Clockwork Stars harness Void to grant wishes.
We know that the ancients studied the mysteries of Void, and I don’t doubt that they would eventually learn to harness it
But, a more prominent example is that in the fight against Star Dream, they were INCREDIBLY confident in their ability to harness NOVA to grant their wish of eradicating all organic life in the universe. This would take an IMMENSE amount of power to grant, and Termina is commonly referred to as a destroyer of worlds.Void is incredibly powerful, and I don’t doubt that if harnessed, it could be used to grant a wish of that stature.
The Heart shares attacks with Void
But if this is the case, then it brings up some interesting ideasLike, if the stars harness and use void to grant wishes, then that means that Marx had void cast directly ONTO him. Other than Magolor (who we can assume retains some manner of Void within him considering he shares attacks with his Void Controlled Self), he’s the only real non-void character to have canonically interacted with void.What does this mean for Marx? Does that explain why he’s a little bit…twitchier?It gives us a reason as to why Marx was able to create a soul form out of absorbing some of Nova’s parts; because Nova is imbued with Void.Heart of Nova shares attacks with Marx, is able to split itself in half and contains a miniature black hole. Does this connect it to Void through Marx?There’s lots of speculation to be had here, and I just like the concept!
