Can I get an imagine for a Dante x immigrant s/o who recently had a kid? I just want to read hcs about Dante struggling to pronounce his own kid’s name just for laughs tbh.

(Sorry if this is shitty!!) 

-Okay so he’s going to try his god damn hardest to educate himself in any way he can about you and his child's culture, language etc. Because he wants to be able to help his child be proud of both their cultures. 

-When your child was first born, Dante had about 17 pronunciations of the same name for them, which led to a LOT of confusion amongst the DMC family of what you’d actually called them?? (A V angry Lady and Trish throwing things at him for being so dumb). 

-The closest Dante has ever been to ‘cultured’ is ordering something other than his usual pizza, so when he told you he wanted you to teach him about your home country and its traditions you were skeptical. But when he’s genuinely interested in something he’s a surprisingly fast learner. 

-Still struggles pronouncing his own child’s name even after several years though, but you have an inkling he does this on purpose just to amuse you both.

ccan you do credo’s reaction to finding out you’ve cheated on him?

-He’s hurt. 

-He’s always worshipped the ground you’ve walked on, putting you before anything including both Kyrie and The Order of the Sword. 

-So when he finds out you’ve betrayed him in the worst way imaginable, he loses it.

-Even Kyrie can’t calm him down, and your actions finally push him to give himself wholly to Sanctus. 

-Credo wouldn’t let you explain why you had betrayed him so. He wouldn’t listen as you cried out to him about how he had neglected you. He may say you’re his everything but over the last couple of months he had spent more and more time with Sanctus. Sometimes he wouldn’t return for days, at one time he’d been gone for over a week. 

-You’ve explained all this to Kyrie who although upset with you for betraying her brother, understands why you’ve done this. Yet Credo won’t listen to her either. 

-Its almost as if he’s gone completely mad. 

-Accepting the demonic form to take over his body meant you were in extreme danger, and Nero has to help you flee Fortuna so that Credo can’t find you. 

-The last word he utters before his death is your name.

Nero tells Vergil everyone believes he is Dante’s son because they have similar personalities, ppl skills,... Vergil’s response? :)

I think Vergil is a little hurt by this. There’s something deep down that has  persuaded him throughout the years that Dante has always taken everything good from him, so to hear people believing that Nero is Dante’s son is a real kick in the teeth. Of course he just laughs it off though, V may have been comfortable sharing his emotions but Vergil sure as hell wasn’t. After this though he makes more effort to get to know Nero and spends as much time as he possibly can with him without making it obvious. From now on he makes sure to correct anyone who believes that Dante is Nero’s dad.

-Nero is so perfect, surprisingly he barely cries. He’s such a peaceful, happy baby.

-Whenever you can’t find V, you know he’s in the nursery reading to your son. He’ll be sat in the rocking chair, Nero swaddled in blankets as he recites his favourite stories his mother had told him as a child. Sometimes they’re so enthralled with each other neither notice you leaning against the door with your camera. 

-Other times you and V just lie in bed with Nero, both just kinda in awe at the fact you both made that. 

- Toddler Nero is a lot more stressful than baby Nero, and trying to get him to eat the various pots of baby food was often messy and traumatic. Most days you just pay Dante to do it now.

Dad!V with Nero?

If we’re talking about newborn Nero, V would be very loving and caring, making sure he’s always happy. 

If we’re talking about the present, V would be slightly more withdrawn, especially if we’re going with canon and his first meeting with Nero is during the events of DMC5. He would however be extremely protective, making sure at least one of his familiars keeps an eye on Nero when he can’t. 

At times V gets slightly frustrated that he’s not strong enough to protect Nero as much as he’d like, but at the same time he knows Nero is perfectly capable.

Sometimes V recites poems when he’s nervous, and being around Nero definitely makes him nervous. Then he cringes in embarrassment because as much as Nero tries to partake in this, poetry just isn’t his thing. They both find themselves overthinking how to interact with the other, when all they really have to do is just talk???

Nero appreciates V’s advice. Although his first instinct is to talk to Kyrie about his troubles, there are some subjects he’d rather spare her (especially if they’re about her or Credo), and he’s found V is able to offer him sound advice and a safe space to vent. He tried talking to Dante once but ended up shooting him in the head. Luckily V didn’t share an ounce of Dante’s annoying personality.

They’re still rather cautious around each other though, and theres a lot that still needs to be said before the relationship is fully formed.

The idea of losing one another now scares both of them, so they make sure they keep in contact often, just in case.

so we’ve seen reboot dante’s reaction to being called daddy, but what about my mans reboot verg? 👀

- Honestly I’m not 100% sure he’d be into it. 

-The most comfortable setting I could see him enjoying being called daddy would be if your relationship were a sugar daddy/baby one. 

-Perhaps if you called him it as a joke he’d see it as a challenge to completely dominate you in the bedroom. 

-After that it would be almost be a code word between the two of you that you need him right then and there. 

-There is also the slight chance that he thinks you’re indicating that you’re carrying his child which makes an awkward conversation.

-Probably would try and get you pregnant after that tho and would mention your daddy kink throughout.

Hello! I’m back again (have we all noticed I am horrendous at being consistent with this blog lmao I’m so sorry I’m just a huge mess).

I’m going to try and get through all my asks tomorrow, I promise I’m not ignoring you if yours hasn’t been answered yet!

My reboot Vergil fic is currently on hiatus cause I’m not feeling very inspired to continue it atm and I don’t want to write something that’s a bit half-arsed and shitty. (Plus I’m kinda in love with DMC5 Vergil and V right now so I might add a few cheeky one-shots about these two to my ao3/Wattpad).

Thanks for still supporting the blog and my writings, life’s a bit sucky at the moment but I’m trying to be more consistent with posting on this!

-He’s very caring and careful towards you.

-He’s basically walking on eggshells he’s so nervous to do something wrong and you have to tell him to relax at least once a day.

-He enjoyed planning out the nursery with you, painting the walls so it looked like something out of a fairytale.

-Oh you’re craving something weird at 2 AM? No problem, he’s up in seconds and on the search for whatever it is you want.

-The idea of pregnancy is so extraordinary to him, he’ll just be starting at you from across the room in awe.

-He’s super supportive and is there every step of the way, buying baby books and what not to educate you both on how to be the best parents you can be.

- He deffo cries when he holds his child for the first time.

Well the reason of V's existance is that he was Vergil's human half (i.e. V is in fact a precious goth human <3 ) and its easier to think that he is Vergil's compasion that was overshadowed by his demon half or even the part of him that was regretting his own actions seeing as he mentions he wanted to make up for his wrong doings - neph

True, I get the whole thing about his human half but I just think he could have looked or acted a little more Vergil-ish??? Idk I feel like they really missed the mark with V and I totally get why people are distancing him from the canon

May I have an Headcanon for Dante who have 4"11 girlfriend who hate her height but Dante love her any way. Please and thanks. :)

Sure!

-He thinks you’re so cute and will poke fun at the fact you’re small every now and then.

-Gives you nicknames such as shorty, short stuff, any cringe nickname he can think of relating to your height he’ll use.

-He occasionally moves some of your stuff higher so that he has to come grab it for you (he really just wants another excuse to pull you close to him smh).

-As much as he likes to tease you, he tells you everyday how perfect you are and tries to stop you seeing your height as a negative thing.

-Considering how tall he is, he finds having to bend down slightly to kiss you hilarious, and will end up picking you up and pushing you against a wall or putting you on his desk when he really wants to get into things.

Aaaah i have a headcanon that V is what the twins would look like if they werent half demon <3 cause i cant tell what eva's eye color is but it seems odly similar to V so lowkry think its green :o

That’s quite a cool concept tbf. V’s story really annoys me because he could have been such a good character on his own, and him being part of Vergil just doesn’t make sense to me???

Adorbs dad!Dante headcanons where he's having tickle-fights with his babu's poor kiddo's beware of the scruff and tummy raspberries!

- Dante always whips the kids up into a frenzy at the WORST times, especially just before they have to go out or it’s bed time.

- He’ll be throwing them up in the air and all sorts, giving their mother a heart attack.

- They’re both disgusted and amazed by Dante’s facial hair, especially when there’s food in it. (Who’s the real kid here?)

- He loves seeing them happy and laughing though, because that’s all he’s ever wished for his children.
