She arched a brow at the slightly harsh sound in Lockâs voice. âIâm truly sorry if I offended you in anyway.â Pausing she took a sip of tea and then raised her head at Lockâs question. âWho? Gandalf? Yes I know him. Heâs actually the reason for the adventure I only recently returned from. That was why I was asking. Iâve noticed he has a tendency to decide whatâs best for you.â
Lock shook her head quickly, âIâm not offeneded, trust me! Iâve got thick skin, its alright;â The halfling smiled. âHe sent you off on a quest?â The other looked amused again, thought it was hard to tell without looking into her eyes. âMhmâŚwhat was it?â She asked, tilting her head. She hoped Bilba wouldnât notice how eager Locklandâs curiousity was.Â
Seeing no point in keeping the quest a secret now that Erebor was reclaimed she smiled. âI was hired by Thorin Oakenshield to sneak into the Lonely Mountain and steal the Arkenstone from Smaug.â Taking another sip of her tea, she looked towards the flames. Speaking of the journey brought many memories forth.
Lock grinned, looking over at the other halfling. "Reeeeally? That's amazing!" She leaned forward, and blew smoke from her nose, making her voice deep as she spoke, in what she believed was a mimic of a dragon's voice. "You mean~...The Dragon, Smaug?" The halfling laughed, grinning.Â
