"Father?"
Mimi and Snow sat outside their father’s door. It was a cold night, and they shivered in the darkness. They knocked on the door again.
"Father are you in there?"
"I bet he will not answer…" Mimi…
Snow sneakly shifted and saw the inside of his lab and quickly went back to where she was “sorry father, but… umm… we are too scared to sleep on our own” she said
Their father smiled. “Oh girls, you’re never alone! Your late mother is always there at your side. She’s always looking after you two. Okay? Now please, get to bed.”
"yes father." she said "good, i will be resting too shortly" the father replied
"Tomorrow’s the anniversary of her death…" Mimi mumbled. Father nodded. "Yes, we’ll visit her grave tomorrow."
Snow smiled and started walking towards her room not noticing the noises comming from the room
When they got to the bedroom, Mimi turned to Snow. “Snow, have you ever heard the noises at night? Coming from dad’s lab?”
"yes but i pretend i dont because i love father. don you know what father and… Maria do down there?" Snow asked
Mimi nodded slowly. “Just pretend you don’t know, or Father might get mad.”
"yeah." she said and the clock started saying it was midnight
Mimi stared at the clock. Today was the day. Mimi sighed. She was crappy at handling emotions, and hoped she wouldn’t cry today. Mimi decided to focus on the floor.
Snow decided to walk around the room, she looked at the photo of Mom
"Snow...what if father marries her? What will that mean for us?"
