The knife pierced her core, shattering the glass around it and leaking blue matter through her and out of her. She gasped, her eyes meeting his as her body spasmed. As she shut down, she managed to gasp a few words. “You s-s-s-s-see?” she sputtered, her voice box glitching and warping. “I w-was right….” And then she fell limp.
Something inside of him snapped as soon as Sunshine’s body went limp and he was hit with the sudden realization of what he had done, and her accusations seemed to ring entirely true. He let go of the knife as if it was burning a hole in his hand. “Su…S-Sunny?” He whimpered, cupping a hand over his mouth.
"C’m-m-m-mo-mon, ya go-gotta sa-ay somethin’!" He inched forward, looking for any sign of life left. Her core was dull and blue matter bled through her shirt and her optics were lifeless and just as dull.
Of course, she couldn't say anything. Sunshine was gone, her last act of the world being trying to destroy her best friend with hate in her heart, and now she was dead. Her body was broken and useless, her mind abandoned.
