1) I haven’t exactly measured it, but when not braided, I think it reaches just past my mid-back?

2) Oh, it depends... I decided I wanted to grow it out way before that, but a lot of the homes I went to didn’t like how long it got, and had it cut short even though I begged them not to. I guess I officially started growing it out when I ran away? So twelve or thirteen ish.

3) I prefer morning and mid-day! Any time it’s brightest, really. I tend to hallucinate and it’s harder to double-check what’s real at night, so I just like being able to see things more clearly…

i got into listening to vocaloid back in 2009 (specifically miku, mind you; people assume i listen to vocaloid in general, but that’s not the case. it’s just miku. i might occasionally listen to a gumi track or two but i’m only legitimately interested in songs that use miku’s voicebank), so all my favourites are considered old by now. many classics though.

to name a few as a comprehensive list: world is mine and melt by ryo, rolling girl by wowaka, and that one song by nashimoto ui.

cephalopods… that’s octopi and squids and such, isn’t it? i’m afraid they don’t quite fall under my area of expertise, but from what i know of them, they’re interesting creatures. something about octopi being recognised as a fellow sentient species (although, don’t get me started on what qualifies as ‘sentient’; the majority of animals are sentient as far as i’m concerned, but the way they’re classifying it in this context implies a certain measure of intelligence and specific behaviours. i’m sure they could alternative terminology for this that wasn’t so exclusive and confusing). i’m afraid i’m even less educated on jellyfish species.

if i have to pick a favourite, i’ll go with cuttlefish. vivian had to write a paper on them once for school and she asked me to help with it, so i learned some very surface level information about their diet, natural habitat, and social behaviours. i’m choosing based on familiarity alone.

another rare intelligent question. you'll find i've already given an answer regarding my favorite book here, but as for the latter; i've found that a lot of endangered avian species are flightless.

that's not to say that all endangered avian species are flightless, but many are. i was looking into the kākāpō's dwindling numbers when i discovered that they actually lack a keel and therefore cannot fly, which surprised me given they possess more prominent wings than other well-known flightless birds (such as the kiwi, which is interestingly also from new zealand).

in any case, i looked into this more, and out of the sixty recognised species of flightless birds, around half of them are endangered. there are over a hundred more that have already gone extinct over the centuries. sixteen of the remaining flightless bird species all originate from new zealand. isn't that fascinating?

Sorry I didn't see this before!! I really like Alex G's music, so a lot of the time I try to recreate some of his songs. Gnaw and Candy are the ones I have the most practise with, since they're my favourites!

Not sure what you meant by favourite moments, but I've been teaching a friend of mine (the gas station cashier) how to play lately, and that's been fun :]

i have given this a lot of thought. ultimately, i'd have to go with the great albatross; storm petrels are also relatively high up on my list, but i am biased toward the albatross' renowned flight speeds.

Ohhh, I don't know... all birds are lovely! I've actually gotten quite into birdwatching since, um, you know. Stuck at home and all, aha... I guess I'd have to go with the red cardinal! They're definitely one of the more brightly-colored sorts of birds we see around here, so I always spot them easily. Lovely little things, they are.
