For whatever reason I came on and searched the anon world tag and my god I miss it here so much? I haven’t checked this tag in like ten years and I’m feeling so nostalgic :(

but not in the way people think.

i wasn’t obsessed with him, i was in love in the most genuine, unfiltered way i knew how to be at the time. i wrote about him because what we had felt real to me, and i didn’t see a reason to water that down just to look less intense to strangers on the internet.

and honestly? i don’t regret it.

if anything, i think it says something beautiful that i was capable of loving someone that deeply, that openly, without turning it into something cynical or guarded. A lot of people never let themselves feel that, even once.

it didn’t last, and that’s okay. not everything that’s real is meant to stay forever.

but it was real enough to change me, and soft enough that i can look back at it without bitterness.

so yeah, i was that girl and i’d rather be her than someone who never felt anything worth writing about.
