Seaworld is making a small comeback !

hi guys, its Updawg, the original creator of Seaworld.

I wanted to come back to this au after a year because I'm finally getting back into Eddsworld as a whole, and I missed drawing the fish boys. BUT I am constantly working on other projects. Commissions, a fnaf au, animations, etc. I'm a busy guy! so while I cannot guarentee I can consistently post Seaworld or answer asks, I politely ask of you all to understand if some asks get unanswered for a long time. they will get answered! eventually! patience is a virtue after all.

Zackieboyo ALSO will occasionally answer asks, but ultimately it is up to him if he wants to or not.

Im going to set out some ground rules for this ask blog/au though.

1. NO NSFW. I do not want to see fish porn. weather it be art or fanfiction or... ai chatbots... I do NOT want to see it and do not want my characters used for it. no nsfw asks either.

2. strictly NO AI. absolutely no ai art, writing, or chatbots at all of anything regarding this au. AI fucking sucks and if you use it, you're a loser. hands down.

3. Fanart is okay! fanfics are okay!! As long as you tag me, or the ask blog, in posts because WE WANT TO SEE IT!! :D

4. do not repost art here without credit/permission. bro thats just stealing.

5. we block freely! if you break any of these rules or send in bigoted/hateful asks we WILL block you brug. BEHAVE YOURSELVES!!!

Edd is a shark, Tom is a squid, Matt is a lobster, Tord is a pufferfish, Eduardo is a tiger shark, Jon is a octopus, Mark is a mantis shrimp, Larry is a sea anemone and Bing is an angler fish

great questions! I had this idea for the au that it's kinda like Splatoon

everyone on land is just fish based creatures

and like yeah they can go into the water but they mostly live on land lol (hence why most of them have legs)

also lmao wouldn't it be funny if the end went down and Tords robot is just a bigger fishbowl lmfao

the list is based on how much they prefer eating it from top to bottom!

Does Tord puff up when someone gets close to him? (Like minecraft lol)

not exactly when someone gets "close" to him but more so when he gets angry or feels threatened

real pufferfish have a lot of energy taken out of them when they puff up, so I'd like to think Tord doesn't do it often and when he does he has to take a long nap afterwards to feel better

Does Matt walk sideways

Matt doesn't like crabs

Lobsters don't walk sideways, they don't need to! they swim in the ocean and when they do walk it's usually forward

crabs walk sideways because it's faster for them, since their legs are on the sides of their bodies

Lobsters also have an escape technique where they rapidly flip their tail in and out to propel themselves backwards, so Matt should do that actually

I wanna know more about Seaworld Tord and Matt(my beloveds), just any fun facts abt the two of them

I'm not drawing all of these facts out but this drawing is about how Tord is afraid of Edd because he's a shark

when they first met Tord thought he was unpredictable and deceitful, but Edd just looks that way. he's actually a really chill guy

Tord still gets squeamish around the big guy though, even after all the years they've lived together he can't get over that toothy smile. most of the reason he's ever puffed up is because Edd had startled him.

Matt is probably the one he should be afraid of anyway. he's clumsy with his big claws and accidentally snips things all the time. one time he accidentally lobbed off one of Tom's tentacles, which Tom never forgave him for. but Matt isn't really sorry anyway.

he doesn't do anything about his clumsiness though, and kinda goes "eh" whenever he snips something and moves on. Edd gets pissed at how many plates are broken because of this guy.

Tord is a Torquigener albomaculosus (type of pufferfish) and he's very poisonous

Matt is a cape lobster and uhhh insert fun fact here lol

if Tord was grabbed out of his bowl and he puffed up the person who grabbed him would go "OUCHYYY!!" and let go and he'd fall back into his bowl

If Matt and I kissed it would be epic

says the stupid fish. Edd, Matt, Tom and Tord all grew up underwater. when they moved to land, Tord had to stay behind because of his lack of lungs and walkers. he figured out quickly needed to do something about that, so he built a body to take him onto land.
