Happy Pride, folks! Story time I went to the pride festival in my city, specifically because I was a vendor. I hadn't been excited to go to pride fest since middle school, so my excitement for this one was long overdue. I was walking past these vendors whom I had passed by multiple times, when suddenly I heard "IS THAT HATSUNE MIKU?!" I was startled by this, so I turned around to try and find the Hatsune Miku, and quickly noticed that I was being looked at...I was Hatsune Miku. I was so surprised by this, I just posed and then kept walking. SO...that brings me to this image I made of Hatsune Miku in my pride outfit, makeup and all. Unfortunately you can't see all of make up look because Hatsune Miku is so pale...but I am actually super happy with it. If you want pictures of my pride get up, just ask <3

Had another stream, this time I did have something to actually work on. A coworker of mine made my sona, but didn't know the colors so he guessed and I drew that out differently. Then I drew Bee with all their different moods; POTS, Sleepy, and simping. Maybe I will do weekly streams, idk

Howdy

Ugh, man, its the winter season. So, just a quick thing. I am going to try and post art on here and maybe DA; there's been issues I have been hearing through the grape vines about DA so its *questionable* But to be a tad open about my personal life. I have been very active in reconnecting with my native roots, and its been such a beautiful journey that I can't wait to eventually share through art. But because that's been so important to me...school is chore...and I am still working for my degree. Art comes to me but I can't...devotee any time to it. And as you know about some of the things I share, I have also been very active with my community about certain things, as well as active in ensuring my safety as a queer bipoc individual. So art...has been thrown on the back since 2020 when I began my journey. I have a lot of goals for myself and a lot of what I want to do...but this year once I pay off some stuff, I will be saving up for a tablet so I can start making art on the go, as well as share my beadwork once my crafting area gets cleaned up. I had a dream of the mural artwork "Ginger and Olive Oil" by Moju Manuli being big figures of the Palestine movement, so I needed to draw it. Palestine has been under the rule of Israel since 1967. 37,551 people have been killed and about 14,500 children have been murdered. Everyday someone dies in Palestine...from starvation, from illness, from bombings, from gunshot, from bulldozers, from the hands of the Israel Government, from the hands of the American Government, from the companies that fund the war, and the tax dollars taken from our paychecks. Many artist and activist had made better post then I could, and I could try and explain what I can, but all I can say and what you should focus on. Donate to what you can and if you can't, there are plenty of alternatives. Look at the ballots and vote. And most importantly, Don't stop talking about Palestine.

Happy Pride everyone. I had a hard time figuring out what to make exactly because queer identity for me is hard. I am two-spirt which is just an umbrella for indigenous folks so I used one of the flags I resonated with; there is no official two-spirit flag I loved the message behind this flag, as well as reminded me of both medicine wheels and I thought that was beautiful. Thank you Elder Myra Laramee for bringing the term to the people for our relatives to be recognized from the years of erasure. I know you do not need an identity or label if you do not wish, but I feel more comfortable with labels for myself. Not only have I discovered that I am demi, but also the title of abrosexual has come up a bit. Pride is a good time to talk about everyone and their identities as well as throwing bricks are cops <3 Never forget our mother Marsha P. Johnson and all the people who put their life and souls to make sure that queer identities would be normalized. Even though we have many battles to still fight.
