Loki instinctively put up his hands, showing that he meant no harm. He couldn't ignore the distinctive pull he felt toward this particular man, something otherworldly and nearly magical. His nose scrunched up slightly as the smell of fire and smoke wafted into his nostrils, but the only sign that he could pinpoint was the fact that the man - a very naked man, he noticed - was covered in ash and soot.

"I will not hurt you," he replied softly, slowly shouldering off his coat. "Here... We don't want you catching a cold."
