It is not easy being 'the bad guy'. Nobody will come close, not when they feel you're an embodiment of evil. People run, hide when you are seen. They cower at the sound of your voice, a voice they now connect with suffering. Evil. Dark times. It's now a time of light - the dark king is dead. But we are still here. What do we do now? We lie low. We wait. We keep ourselves occupied in the ways that we can. There is nothing left for us, not any more. So why are we still here?

For mun: What encouraged you to do a skalfos?

[[I really wanted to do a blog for an enemy, but not one that had been done before. That obviously ruled out Dark Link, Majora, Ganon and most of the major or minor bosses, so I decided to look through what you could call the foot soldiers. Stalfos looked like the easiest to create and maintain a personality for, so I chose them. Plus I thought they might be easier to draw (they're not).]]

Why would I have the urge to pet a plant? Even if I did, it would not hurt - I cannot feel pain.

Many times. Being defeated is not a disappointment, always. To lose a fight is to accept that person as a superior to you, although I happen to have high ranks in my race.

What do you do while you're waiting for your victims to come by?

You seem to have the opinion that we stalfo are the top of a chain. We are not. There are higher ranks of monster, and many more powerful than us. We do not always live in harmony, creatures of darkness, and we must fight to keep ourselves alive in the same way as hylians and humans.
