Pinky, with you and Steven separate, wouldn't that mean that Steven will age like a regular human until he dies of being old? Well you yourself won't age at all. Although, if Steven and you were to fuse Back Together, by the time he's old and dies, you won't die. Since you're his gem half, as soon as he dies of old age, you'll be the only half left that still alive. That means you'll still be alive whether you two are separate or not.

i haven’t played unleash the light unfortunately, so i’m not sure what happens in it, but from what i know yes! basically steven is putting all the “saving the universe” stuff on hold while he’s recovering.
