Here’s the context.

In my head canon, 18 was given super human serum. To combat ki detection or ki loss, Gero added cybernetics to the twins. This serum was also the reason why Cell needed them to be Perfect. So Marron inherited the serum and unlocks a power boost. However, since she isn’t a cyborg, this power isn’t infinite and can be sensed when unlocked.
