In regards to my post canon mob psycho au,
On Instagram we call it the grown up (GU) au but I don’t know how you folks wanna call it here
But it’s called that because it also includes the high school era terumob and all the events that happen in there that lead up to the main parts with them being all grown up now,
So that’s why idk if I can say these are my own headcanons for the actual characters because it’s more like a fanfic that takes place during parts of one really big timeline and I’m kind of just filling in the holes a little bit at a time
I also wanted to say I never meant to make it seem like Terus job was a mystery,but it seems that’s what it’s come down to so before I say anything,if you wanna remain clueless until it’s actually brought up again you can stop reading now but if not I’ll just explain here
Adult Teru doesn’t have a job unfortunately,
It’s supposed to be ironic and or sad because he was a really bright and gifted kid that got caught up in the dream of having the family he always wanted and lost sight of himself
If you’ve read the Instagram comics ,you will find shou said it to him best,,
If you don’t wanna go look for all the comics on Instagram (I understand,it’s a little dated and corny) you can ask here and I’ll answer clearly.
I say this a lot on Instagram and maybe a few times here,but I didn’t make the au on purpose at all I only wanted to have fun with the few followers I gained at the time who were drawing their own conclusions from the funny comics I made about them and then it got a little dramatic and the story made itself,after a while people stopped commenting but some people still wanted to see more and so I just decided to keep working with the other characters and ended up with a whole story and ending just not all drawn out.So that’s why things may be confusing at the start.So if anybody wants to contribute or maybe make a request for certain things I’d be happy to shake things up in the story.I really liked when it was more interactive anyway.
If you’re wondering the limits of what you can suggest are,an example I’ll give is that I had like 2 or 3 followers who were big takenaka fans,and it was during that time that shou was getting a lot of flack for what he did so they suggested I pair up ritsu with takenaka instead and eventually the story led to some sort of love triangle between the three.Again,nobody comments anymore so I’m not sure what to do with that anymore,but it did make me consider takenakas character a lot more.
Anyway that’s all I will say for now.I would really like to keep working on this whole au as an interactive project so I can have some motivation to post more comics based on this.I want it to have an ending we can all be happy with.That was the fun part to begin with.I know ive been slacking in making proper comics for it but it hasn’t left my mind since 2023 and I really want to create an au that can standout in this fandom just in case I end up not being as successful with my own ocs
There’s only a few things I would probably not allow to change up and that would be how often any adult from the original shows up (Reigen,Serizawa,dimple),,(sorry) that’s because the focus is supposed to be on the younger cast now that they’re older
