Lips pressing into a thin line, Marinette sneaked a glance towards the boy sitting beside her. It didn’t seem like he paid Marinette much attention, and the girl felt better. Guilt bubbled in her stomach for being on her phone in class, and she worried that she would be called out by her professor. But her class nerves caused her more anxiety, and she honestly just wanted to keep talking to her little kitty.

Music to your ears? she typed, shaking her head as she kept herself from making any noise as she laughed. I’m typing, chaton. How is it music if you can’t hear me, silly kitty.”

Sighing to herself, Marinette rested her head onto her propped hand as her other hand made idle work copying down notes from the professor’s presentation. Blue eyes continuously glanced at her phone, waiting for the familiar sign of a notification. And finally she had been blessed! Not that she was waiting or anything.

Her chin turned against her head and thin eyebrows knitted together as she stared at Chat’s message. She glanced once again at the boy beside her and then behind her. There weren’t many people around her, and she shouldn’t have been surprised. Her situation was drastically different from Chat’s.

You must be a popular tom cat. Either that or your class is completely filled. Unlike mine. There’s a guy near me and he hasn’t glanced at me once.

Actually I think it is a bit of the same proplem. Te guy next to you does not understand how amazing you are bugaboo and the people near me do not understand how normal I am. If they saw who you were there would be all sort of people looking at you. 

Just know that I would never ignore you if I was there.

He sighed and shook his head. How could they not realize how amazing she was? He had this weird feeling though like he a small part wanted to talk to her alone but that was a weird thought. Honestly most of him was more worried. He knew what it felt like to be ignored at least by the people who counted. 

“Adrien?”

“Yes Dr. Bently?” Ahh man he was so caught with his phone out. He hoped she would not be too mad.

“What is the answer to this question?” Adrien paused and looked at the problem for a moment and told the answer sighing with relief when he got it right. 

“Wow you are so smart” A girl next to him said.

“Oh thanks it was a topic I had in high school so I had a bit of an edge.” He turned back to the phone.

System rebooting complete! She took a moment to blink a few times. Get her head screwed on as best as she could and cleared her headspace. Right. She could do this! Everything was fine. Though in retrospect, no wonder chat Noire had such a knee jerk reaction to her suggesting Hawkmoth was Gabriel! She’d react the same way if someone suggested her father was the man behind Paris’s pain! “Adrien! It’s really amazing that you’re the one I’ve been working with all this time! I’m really glad it’s you that has my back. I never thought I’d be so lucky!”

He felt his face get red at the comment. He felt like his worlds were colliding in a very strange way. Her was his good friend and his crush who was the same person and it made complete sense. He though back to when Marinette had the mouse kawamii. But ...did Marinette feel that way really? Adrien felt like he has really let her down multiple times. 

“Are you...are you sure it is ok?”

The masks drop.

It had taken half an age for marinette to agree to this. She had mulled over the idea with Tikki and other kiwami from the box and from a logical stand point… It made sense.

She was the guardian now and the one in charge of picking worthy holders for the mircaulous under her care.

Marinette needed to know who chat noire was, because if she didn’t, what if she picked her partners civilian self by mistake? What if one of them needed aid?

And that’s what led to Marinette and her partner detransforming in an empty warehouse and…her currently blue screen of death as she tried to reboot with the information she now has!!!

Chat Noir was surprised to say the least when his Lady gave him the option. After all she had been the one this whole time avoiding this knowledge. However with her being the guardian it made sense she would want to know his identity. Even though he has been waiting to know the truth for a long time he felt nervous as he said.

“Plagg claws in” Adrien felt a but uncomfortable as plagg left his ring and went back to his stuffed animal form. As Chat Noir he had a layer of confidence that would help him through tough situations so he felt some his stomach slightly filled with nerves and excitement. His eyes grew huge as he looked at ladybug shift to his good friend. He remembered the times when he though that maybe she could be but Plagg either convinced him to not think about it or he realized ways to make him think differently. 

“Marinette” He said her name not quite a question not quite a statement. Just acceptance. Wow, he would call himself dumb but that was not quite accurate... just that he knew Marinette and Ladybug were both clever and intelligent enough to keep him in the dark.

Something Familiar || Elizabeth & Adrien

   Elizabeth loved all the friends she had made here and enjoyed the time spent with each and everyone one of them. It was nice, and intriguing, to learn about other realms and lived lived beyond the one she knew. She was sure it was something Merlin would thoroughly enjoy if she were here. Even so… Elizabeth had a home. She had friends and family, and a kingdom to protect. And she was sure she was not the only one.

   “Thank you so much, Sir Chat Noir,” Was he a sir? She supposed it didn’t really matter. “Welcome to the S.S.A.!” The silverette passed him a pendant with the emblem of a dragon pressed into it, the symbol of the alliance. “Should the need ever arise, you may use this pendant to symbolize your allegiance with us, to show that you are on our side. You have full access to any and all of our resources you may need.” Suddenly, the princess’s face burned red, and a slim hand reached up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “Th-thank you,” Elizabeth replied, a soft smile on her lips. “I was not formally taught, no… but I did have a wonderful example set for me.”

Chat smiled at the princess and thanked her as he took the pendant. He listened for her explanation and he smiled even bigger. 

“I have a lot of appreciation for people who speak their mind and go for what they believe in. Honestly I was expecting you to saw that you had been formally taught since you do it well. Thank you for the invitation and I will do my best. Honestly home much you have managed to do in a short amount of time is awe inspiring.” Chat really did respect the princess. Elizabeth managed to bring so many people together and creating such a large organization. All of that and she was such a nice passionate girl. 

“Now princess I have a very important question for you. Have you ever had frozen yogurt If we are planing on rescuing everyone from being trapped her in wonderland we will need to try everything while we can.”

Something Familiar || Elizabeth & Adrien

   A faint blush dusted Elizabeth’s cheeks. It wasn’t that she was ashamed of her speech, or even afraid to give it. But she had listened to Sir Meliodas speak so valiantly countless times before, raising people from the depths of the darkest parts of themselves and bringing them to their cause – she would never be half the leader he was. Even so… that didn’t mean the goddess couldn’t try. 

   “Of course,” She nodded politely. It showed character and intelligence to ask such questions, and it brought a smile to her lips. “As I’m sure you’re aware, there is a force that has brought each of us here. By consequence it is either that same force or a higher one keeping us from returning home. We once believed it was the Cheshire Cat, but with the recent developments, we now know he was only carrying out orders issued to him.”

   The SSA informant team had done a wonderful job keeping up to date with things happening around Wonderland, doing their best to decipher who or what called the shots. “Once we get to the root of who is behind all of this, the rebellion will be started against that force, an uprising with an end goal of us all being able to return home.”

Chat Noir nodded at the explanation it made sense to him. He could tell she was young but then again so was he. They were both examples of kids who had to grow up a bit too quickly but he believed what she was saying.

“Okay Princess Elizabeth I think you have a pretty compelling argument. I think you sold me, I’m not gonna lie I do actually enjoy it here but I know a lot of other people find it a struggle to be here for different reasons and well I made my life about helping others already. So I would love to join. You are a very excellent speaker by the way did you ever get lessons or are you just speaking from your heart?” He had meant every word he said. it was clear she had a lot of compassion and conviction which to him was someone who he could easily work with.

Holding her friend in her arms was truly miraculous. With every strange thing that had happened to Chloe in the recent weeks, it was comforting to know that she truly wasn’t alone in this new world.

I have my Adrien, she thought, burying her face into the fabric of his shirt. This was one of the few times that Chloe Bourgeois would lose her composure, and she wouldn’t fret about other’s opinions. They could think that she was a calloused bitch that was hanging onto a probably cute and popular boy–and they would obviously be right because Adrien could attract anyone’s attention–but this was much more to Chloe

This was about her friendship.

“Did I surprise you?” she asked, an inclination to her voice making it seem snotty and abrupt. She pulled away from Adrien and looked at him as her eyes darted downwards. That was a little too much. He didn’t deserve her defensive nature. “Sorry, Adrien. I-uh- I thought you would have heard me coming,” she said letting go of him.

Chloe smiled wearily as she felt the warmth of his palm against her head. It was comforting, to say the least, but something about this pained her all too well. Had he been here the entire time? The girl grabbed his arm as she began leading him to a different spot out of the way. “We have so much to catch up on!” she said, shaking her head so she forgot the momentary relapse to her attitude.

Adrien chuckled. When most people saw Chloe Bourgeois their first thought should not necessarily be excited, however, Adrien has the pleasure of getting to know her, truly know her. She also knew him better then most people her and Nino. So when he saw his close friend happiness filled him.

“No I did not see you at all. I was distracted but you got me pretty good.” He said with a smile placing his hand on her shoulder.

“I’m glad to see you!. And we do when did you get here? Honestly I hope kinda recently so I know I am not hopelessly unobservant. How are you? Getting used to everything?”

A breath of relief escape Chloe’s lips when Adrien opened the door. She sighed, letting her hand fall limply by her side. For a moment she was worried that he wouldn’t come to the door, and she would would have to break in or call for help. But seeing him standing here in front of him was just so calming. Even if her heart beat faster from her panic, this was okay. He hadn’t died.

“Oh, Adrien…” she started, reaching forward to hold onto his upper arm. She needed something to stabilize herself, her fretting mind becoming dazed as the adrenaline died down. “I thought something was happening to you in there. Is everything okay?” she asked.

She leaned closer, sapphire eyes studying the male’s features. “I heard your coughing and I-” Chloe froze, quickly snatching her hand as she used it to cover her mouth. “No, don’t tell me. Do you have that stupid flower infection thing?”

At her first question he just put a hand on her shoulder.

“Don’t worry I’m fine” However when she asked her next question he paused for a second. He motioned inside.

“Here come in.” He closed the door behind her. Green eyes met blue and he sighed. He felt the weight of her question on his shoulders. Her was his childhood friend and though people seemed to underestimate her he knew better. She was a very observant person.

“Yeah...yeah I do. Don’t worry it just sounds way worse then it actually is. How have you been? I have not talked to you in a bit, what brings you over?” He asked the questions getting behind her to try and steer her inside passed the kitchen with the stained crimson inside.

There were many things that one could consider Chloe Bourgeois. Rude and arrogant. Self-obsessed over anything that concerned her like your actions or her own appearance. And vain because it was utterly ridiculous for one to assume that Chloe didn’t value herself.

More often than not, no one would call her a good friend.

And honestly, she admitted that she wasn’t always the best. But without the influence of her mother, her father, or the lifestyle that she left behind , Chloe was determined to be on her best behavior. And that included spending time with her friends.

Chloe approached Adrien’s apartment when she heard the gut-wrenching noise. At first, her lip curled in disgust, but then fear bloomed in her own stomach. Pounding her first against the door, she called out. “Adrikins, are you okay? Adrien, answer me!”

Adrien was coughing his lungs out. It started innocently enough this morning a small cough a scratchy throat but the symptoms quickly escalated. 

He had just finished finished the dishes when the attack started. He was doubled over coughing into his hand.red and pink petals settled into the sink some crimson staining the bottom of the just cleaned sink. 

As he coughed Plagg as the small stuffed cat came towards him.

“Hey Adrien are you ok? What what’s wrong? Make sure to breath ok.” His stuffed paw rested on his hand on the counter.

“Thanks pl-” cough cough cough. That is when the pounding started. He froze a moment and looked at the door. Chloe? A strange sense of relief went through him as he heard his childhood friend. The cough fit finally settled and he walked over to the door wiping some of the blood of his lip and opened the door.

“Hey Chloe.”

Fears of a Cat |

Screams followed Rictus Grin with every step he took. When he was in his full form, everyone could see the horror that was Cheshire, even if people did or did not realize who this fiend was. Various people yelled at their fears to go away; others cried.

And each sound was magnificent. He could feel his powers boosting, and Rictus Grin reveled in the memories that this recreated. How could he have become so cozy with the people that were brought here? Why did he even ask if he could visit that annoying little twit? Gone were the days of those fruitless memories. He’d rather have all the power in the world than to deal with this.

“Kitty, Kitty… I know… that youuuu are a…round here somewhere. I can sense your magic. And the magic of your stuuuuupid turtle companion. Coooome out and giiiive into your fear before I… I come and take your ring….”

Adrien was sitting in his and nino’s living room playing video games. It was one of his days off and he planed on using it to get in as much practice as possible. He could hear music blaring from nino’s room. It sounded like the a new ix he was doing. He paused the game and went into the kitchin to grab some juice. 

However as he opened the fridge he froze. He felt as if something ominous was nearby. 

“....I come for your ring” He froze at the shout and looked out the window to see someone akumatized shouting. Oh no he was looking for him? He looked over at Nino’s room he did not seem to hear him.

“plagg claws out” He whispered as he opened the window. After his transformation he crawled through and jumped a couple of balconies to land on the street. 

“Good thing cats always land on their feet what do you want big guy?”

You know, there's a lot of things that people don't know about you. And a lot of it is stuff that I also don't know. But I gotta say, you're cool and I like hanging with you. You're also pretty cute, but that's an added bonus ;)

There was a time when I was not able to be myself and was physically closed off from the world and though I have done my best to free myself I think it still effected my mind a bit. Physically I’m free but sometime it is hard for me to just be me you know? You seem like someone I am pretty close to so thank you for sticking with me. And thanks for the complement but also for making the distinction that is not why you want to hang out with me. I’m not gonna say I’m unattractive because I like how I look because I look so much like my mom. It helps remind me that even though she is gone she is still with me. Unfortunately there have been some side effects where people only like me because I’m cute. That is why I can tell we are close because the people I really care about keep trying to see the real me. Thank you.

Father and Son reunion

Hell must have frozen over. 

An idea that would surely cross the minds of Paris’ elite if they’d known that Gabriel Agreste was out fetching his own coffee. And at some shoddy bakery, no less. But, this was not Paris, and Gabriel was not a helpless fool trapped in his office. His name did not carry the weight it did-not yet-but there was something freeing about that. 

He had…far less responsibilities, in Wonderland. He could focus on his real goals without worry for-

“Excuse me,” Gabriel huffed as a hulking monstrosity carefully slipped from the door. He did not recieve a response. “Such manners. Who raised such a…”

He turned his head. And hell froze over a second time, as Gabriel Agreste’s sense of decorum faded utterly as his jaw openly fell.

“Adrien?!” 

Adrien closed the cash register as the last customer for a bit left the store at the bell he looked up about to welcome the new customer and was stunned in his tracks as his name was said in shock. He looked up to see his father. Standing in a coffee shop outside the confines of their home in wonderland.

“F-father.” He said in shock for a moment then. A wave of emotions rushed over him. Like a kaleidoscope all mixed together in weird patterns. First it was love, the undenying love a son has for his father. Then guilt, his mother had vanished unknown to where she could have gone and now here was Adrien having vanished himself. He had left his father behind not necessarily trying to find his way out. Only for him to see Adrien living here seemingly unaffected. Then it was worry. Adrien has had a large amount of freed he had never experienced before. He was taking care of himself for the first time. He luckily wasn’t alone his friends giving the support he needed to figure things out. His dad however, there was a chance that he would try to take it away. Though it was only a few seconds to Adrien he felt like he just went through years.

He took his apron off and left it on the counter his boss just nodded and took his place knowing that Adrien was without family until recently in Wonderland. Without question she started to cover for him. He used his palm of his hand to wipe the flour of his face as he went over to hug his father.

The afternoon was like any other. Adrien was pulling bread out of the oven and placed them in the self, finished icing cookies, and filling orders. He had some flour on his cheek he just has not bothered to whip off since some more will just take its place. The bakery was filled with a dull roar of friendly conversation and phone calls office people were on after work. It was a cheerful environment that warmed his very bones. The bakery was nice as he could make these things that made people happy and not have to worry about sticking out. Instead he was a cog in a harmonious machine that served to give people happiness. It was nice. 

“One Americano coffee with a sesame bagel for Rasghoul?” A large red demon like man took the cup and paper bag with a smile and left a a dollar and some change in the tip jar.

“Thank you and have a nice day.” He told him as he lefts the shop the small bell on the door signally his departure.

It didn’t make much sense for Chloe to attend school. While she admitted that Ridiculousland wasn’t a dream, it didn’t seem appropriate for her to spend her days in dull and stupid lessons. Obviously Chloe had managed to get into the top tier school in this silly little land, but would the education really be on par with her school back in Paris? Probably not, but she still needed to gain more knowledge and spend her days not moping around.

The final bell had rung for the day, and Chloe shrugged the strap of her bag over her shoulder before sauntering out her classroom. She stifled a yawn as she avoided running into the losers that didn’t know how to part the sea when she came passing through. But she couldn’t expect them to be smart at what they did, even in this prestigious school.

Turning the corner, Chloe abruptly stopped in her step. The blonde froze and her shoulders stiffened, and it felt like time had slowed down around her. That lusciously ruffled blond hair, those gorgeous forest green eyes, that chiseled jawline: Chloe Bourgeois would recognize these features any day. It felt like her lungs had tightened as tears pricked the corner of her eyes. This was too good to be true.

Going against her better judgement, Chloe broke into a run so she could quickly close the distance. “Adrikins!” she cried before enveloping her childhood friend into a hug. Her shoulders shook as she hung onto him. “I’ve missed you so much! I never thought I’d see you again!”

Adrien was walking out of his class waving bye to one of the classmates he was talking to on their way out. He paused in the hallway to get his phone out of his bag. Then all of a sudden arms squeezed around him.

“GAHH” Adrien shouted in surprise as the blonde tried to tackle him. He managed to hold his ground. He looked over at the girl on him and smiled in surprise.

“Chloe? Oh my gosh when did you get here? I missed you too?” He shifted and placed a hand on her head. He carefully moved his backpack before it fell off his shoulder. 

“Here lets get out of the way on the hallway.” He motioned to moved to the side out of the way so they could talk for a bit before class started again.

   Elizabth bowed and smiled in greeting to him, pulling out all the tricks to a perfect curtsey she had learned from her royal upbringing. “Please to meet you,” She began. “Yes, I am! I am Princess Elizabeth Liones.”

   Clearing her throat, Elizabeth took a step backwards. From her pocket she withdrew a coin pendant with a dragon printed on the side - Meliodas’s symbol. Straightening her shoulders, the third Princess recited her recruitment speech.  “Chat Noir, you and your friends are capable of incredible things, with the skill and will power of true heros. And heroes, I believe, are just what this world needs. It is time to protect others as they deserve to be protected. Join my alliance, and help me begin the rebellion that will set us all free and send us all home,” Elizabeth finished, holding the pendant out to him with shining eyes. “Will you join the Seven Sins Allegiance?”

Chat paused surprised by the bow the princess was doing. He quickly followed suit though it was a bit awkward. He was about to say something but she continued so he decided to listen as she spoke. 

After the speech Adrien was taken aback. It was well rehearsed he could tell and she went from a nice girl to talk to to this person of higher station. But not in a condescending way, the closest thing he could compare it too was a royal princess giving someone a mission to fulfill for her... huh that was actually exactly what was happening. He smiled to her.

“I accept though I do have a question? What do you mean rebellion? Protecting people is something I do regularly and would gladly help with that but the rebellion I’m going to need to know more before I accept.”

💓 -RUNS THE FUCK AWAY-

Nino has always beenAdrien’s touchstone. Without him he honestly thought he would just be a shellof a person. Nino was the person who believed in Adrien and encouraged him tostand up even to those he was not sure if he ever could. With Nino he couldforget the things that people though made him special “model”, “rich”, “talented”all these words people flew around that really did not matter to him. If anything,they distracted people away from who he was. He never had to worry about thatwith Nino. He knew him and understood him. So, going to Nino’s house was a nobrainer. Escape the jail cell that the mansion was and be with his best friend.They would play video games and stay up late eating pizza. So, what ifsometimes they would cuddle close together as they watched funny cat videos. Orheld hands when they were on another mission to sneak Adrien away. Or even whentheir noes brushed that first time. Neither one sure who made the first movebut like gravity’s pull their foreheads brushed each other’s, then their noses,then well you know the rest. Also at least once the bill of Nino’s hat alsotook out Adrien’s eye because they forgot about it and both ended up in a fitof laughter.
