What's the best painting you've ever done? :D
"Hmm... I wouldn't say it's the BEST painting, but it's certainly my favorite! Delfino gets a lot of rich types, but this portrait was of a KING. Okay, he's not really a king, he's just an act they have down at the casino, but he's a really funny dude and very fun to paint."
"U-Um, may i s-see some of your paintings? I need s-something to make my h-house seem a little more... homey."
“Sure! I got a few landscapes I’ve done of Delfino, some still lifes, or if you want, I can comission you for a self portrait!”
Vernice smiled, at this guy wasn't the stuck up type like he usually dealt with. Shows who's a resident of Delfino and who's only a visitor. He held up a dripping tentacle and shook his head, "1000 is fine my dude. Just make up the difference by letting people know where you bought it from." Vernice winked despite his bangs blocking his eyes.
He took the coins from the shy and turned to slip some gloves on. He shuffled to the back of the studio and returned with a very thin cardboard box. He picked up the painting in question and slid it in. He taped it shut and patted the top. "This box should let you get this through customs when you leave the island! Boat or plane, they'll approve of the package! It's all yours, buddy! Thank you for buyin'!"
"U-Um, may i s-see some of your paintings? I need s-something to make my h-house seem a little more... homey."
“Sure! I got a few landscapes I’ve done of Delfino, some still lifes, or if you want, I can comission you for a self portrait!”
“Oh! Y-You w-wouldnt want to p-paint me, nonono you w-wouldnt uhm…”
Steven fidgeted a bit nervously looking away before remembering that he was in fact here to buy at least something
“I uh, id l-like to see your Delfino p-paintings please! Shit shit i hope he doesnt think im weird for saying i wouldnt be good for a portait fuck fuck…”
Vernice was unphased, “It’s all good! Just givin’ ya the options~” He walked Steven over to a group of paintings. They were varying shapes and sizes, one or two of them were as large as six feet tall while others were only two feet long. They depicted different views and sights from around the island.
“S-so what about t-that one there?”
Steven pointed to a painting that was about 3′ by 4′
“H-How much would t-that cost?”
Vernice thought for a moment. “That one’s a big one so a solid 1,000 coins.” He knew he was cushioning the price, but Vernice could tell the shy wasn’t a usual rich resident of Delfino.

“Yyyyeaaa... That’s why I wear an apron... At least you didn’t get sucked in this time!”

“A good few years. Living on a resort island, they got all kinds of special classes resort goers can do to past the time and a few were basic painting classes. The rest was self taught!”
"Woah? Did you paint these? They look amazing! Must've taken a lot of work!"
"Yea, man! Delfino's a beautiful place filled with beautiful people and I just gotta capture it ya know?" Vernice grinned, "Would you like me to paint you?"
