I know a lot of people do different things to celebrate their birthdays and especially when it’s a milestone one it can be a cause for reflection and making change.  In that vein, I made a decision a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been just tying up things on the West Coast with my business partner,  but now that I’m here, I guess it’s official-- I’m a New Yorker now!  There are a couple of things to set up still and I’m waiting for some of my personal belongings to be sent from California but I’m here, I’m excited.  This is a needed change for me.  And for everyone I know that I haven’t touched base with yet already, lets have lunch or dinner, or get a drink soon.  Send me all the recs of your favorite things about the city.  What do I need to know?

After right at three weeks away from good old NYC I’m finally in the home stretch of…Well, being home. I just got off the plane and into my car. Now, I just need the patience to get through this traffic and I’ll be good to go. By the time I get home I’m pretty sure it’ll be too late to cook, so leave your best takeout recs and hopefully something will strike my fancy. And, even though I realize this status is absolutely pointless to anyone but myself, I can’t seem to find a good stopping point! I guess, let me know if you’re interested in getting together, I’ll be home for a couple of weeks at least. @atfgstarters

You know, it just really dawned on me how close summer school is to being over. This time next week my albeit shortened summer vacation will have officially begun…And I don’t have a single plan. Lima hasn’t ever been the most thrilling place, but if anyone has any suggestions I would be open to them..

Oh man, take advantage of that vacation while you can.  The only thing I’m remembering from Lima off the top of my head is the Lima Bean, but Columbus has more to do and isn’t that far.  Although, I’ll admit, there is nothing like a kick back kind of a day.  Those can be so good for the soul.

O Captain, my captain!  It’s good to ‘see’ you Hunter.  And I hope you’ll let me actually see you soon.  I’m in New York.... and yeah.  

I’m not going to weigh in on the social media debate since I have a bias.  But really it comes down to--- do you.  Do what you feel comfortable with, don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable, and blocking, scrolling, and unfriending are all in your power.

Is it just a normal thing for guys to yell inappropriate things to women in a coffee shop? Even while she’s working? I get it. Some guys are just like that but if I have to hear one more guy yell for my number, I might scream. Hope your week has been better than mine. @atfgstarters

Hmmm, now you’ve got me wondering if we could make an app for that.  Not for harassing women at work, but for reporting the people that did or something.  

This week has been so busy, but in a good way and with good reason, so I can’t complain.

I remember way back in high school school choir days competing against you.  I’m Nick Duval; I was a Dalton Warbler.
