Elements of Investigation story arc
For what everyone says is a dead site, it seems to me that tumblr still has a lot of interesting content still coming out. Still got some legs! But the era of Ask Blogs has become a niche, and I will say that this blog was one of the better examples of the kind.

Glad to see that this tumblr is still around! And very impressed to see that you have notes and a story bible document. That puts you ahead of at least 90% of authors. Please consider posting your notes if you do decide to wind down the blog, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd find them fascinating!

Sorry to hear about the RL situation. The MLP movie has its flaws, but is still worth watching. I'd be very interested in a link to a story bible if you put it on dropbox or gdocs or the like.
I'm actually interested in watching it and seeing what they do since they take G4 into lore. I should probably finish watching the new Transformers trilogy too. Gotta make sure Best Pony is still there

Just wanna mention I blame this blog entirely for introducing me to the concept of SCP Foundation of which I'm now obsessed with. It was a slippery slope all along
Since Tirek and Nightmare moon are WCP's, does that mean the Mane Six have done the job of the Archivists, or is their style of neutralization different from what Adamant and Westwood do?
Was there or is there and end goal to this little story, or has that changed due to the combination of parody and the inherent interactivity of this strange site?
Originally there was no end goal, but two emerged:
1. Explain any plot holes and oddities if you incorporate all of MLP, and by referencing Grimlock, all of G1 Transformers and Beastwars, and because the G1 TF has had crossovers with GIJoe, add that too
2. Tell Westwood's story as a means of me working out my own feelings. I think I'll move the art reflecting life bit elsewhere, but there were two endings. If I finished before G4 ended, it was going to be a happy ending where Westy deals with his demons. If I was unable to finish, LCP-7391 was going to rip its way from Westy's dreams into the dimension and basically be a down ending. I chose option 3, to stop at a cliffhanger because dammit, I kind of painted myself into a corner. That and the RL situation that spawned them had changed significantly
Has your list of WCPs had as much variation and change as the mainline SCP's of our world?
So I did treat WCP numbers in a less random way than SCP, given that they're a wide variety of authors. At first, I was random about my numbers, or rather, it was fourth wall meanings. Humanity was WCP-1984 because that's the year the movie/pilot came out for MLP. Grimlock was 2005 because that's the year Transformers: The Movie was set in. But as time went on, I made a rule that these numbers were in chronological order of discovery. The only WCP that matches up to its SCP counterpart is 008. SCP-008 was zombies, WCP-008 was the legend of the blanks copypasta.
So here's my file about WCPs. It didn't have anything about LCP-7391, and I can't remember exactly why it was 1937, but that might be the year about quasars or magnetars, given the nature of it

About WCP1984: Humanity. The numbering was joke-based, but comes long after copernicus and the like, especially since WCP-001. So we have to claim that, like mammoths, they were unknown, maybe mythical, then with WCP-001, only the SCP entries were thought real (IE, the exception, not the norm, and even then these were later discoveries), then with WCP-600, long lost long before ponies, then with 1984, proof that they lived alongside ponies. With currentday interdimensional travel, it could be possible there’s humans in Equestria, but because of show canon, they are NOT in Nightguard Equestria.
About WCP650: Rainbow of light. In g1, it defeated enemies, could dispel clouds, kept in locket. G1 pegusi did not have weather control. In g4, it’s generated by the ponies. Therefore, somehow the RoL was diffused into ponies at some time. It requires 2 of each pony type (alicorns count as 1 of all 3) to bring back. Luna+Celestia could do it. Mane 6 can do it. Celestia solo drained the resonance crystals (the physical aspects) as well as herself when banishing NM. Ironically enough, this infusion is also how RD can generate a rainbow while flying, and is also how Rainbow Factory (not in Night Guard timeline) could work.

I really could not think of what to follow it up with. I tried "Adamant meets DayDream" to introduce her, or "Adamant talks about bat ponies" which is why I commissioned so much art of other bat pone; they were to be photographs in the comic
Westwood never got his degree at Miskatrottic, because of LCP-7391 happening before graduation. So his work in the LCP reserves, growing up with Manzanita who was in the LCP, all that he learned, and her influence when they escaped into this universe, is what got Westwood into the night guards in the first place. He could have earned it, but he was never tested. This contributed to him not getting checked by DayDream way back when
