Let’s start with the obvious question: why move at all? Wasn’t I just getting all stoked about my follower count and finally having this blog in order?
If you have to ask, I’m going to go right ahead and assume you’ve never managed a sideblog. It’s great to control everything without having to log out and back in all the time, but I can’t send asks from here, I can’t like things, I can’t reply - there are so many downsides. All very inconvenient downsides for a type of blog that relies mostly on interacting with others. This is going to make a lot of things easier for me.
But that’s not why you hit read more. So, what will be different on the new blog, and what will change? Let’s start with the former:
New theme, new URL, eventually a new icon style when I decide on one because why not. All or nothing. Let’s regenerate this proverbial time lord.
I’ll be able to follow more people back, since I will no longer need to balance my dashboard between rp and non-rp content.
Because I’m starting off with a clear direction, things will be a little more orderly.
And...that’s about it.
What won’t change:
Any pre-established blog canon, AUs, storylines, relationships and so on.
The ask box. I get a lot of people who don’t rp but enjoy talking with Ko nontheless, and that’s something I actually find pretty cool.
My terrible queue which I will try to fill more often. There will still be random Danganronpa/Ko content scattered throughout, never fear.
My shitposting habit. You could give me a literal funeral parlor’s blog to run and I will still find a way to post garbage.
My writing style, characterisation, and overall way of doing things.
This move is purely logistical, not symbolic. I will keep this blog up as an archive of sorts indefinitely, and to ease the blow, I’ll be splitting my content both here and there for a little while (but expect me to plug the new one at every given opportunity, let’s be real.)

well if you do decide to move you can leave a link in a blog post on here for people to follow you to the new profile for Ko, I've seen other tumblr blogs do it with great success but in the end it's up to you =)

If I do decide to go ahead with this, it’s better to do it sooner rather than later. The longer I leave it, the more content will be left behind and the harder it’ll be to bring everything together again. I’d probably keep this as an archive though. Idk. We’ll see. I’ll give it some thought and let you guys know :D
|| Ngl, this blog grew faster than I thought it would, and I’m very pleased - but the whole sideblog issue (not being able to like, send asks off anon, etc.,) is really starting to get annoying. I’ve been considering transferring this blog onto an account of it’s own but that would mean accumulating all the followers and stuff I’ve already got all over again. Plus, it could get confusing for some people. Idk. Thoughts? Opinions? A worthwhile endeavour or a waste of time?

I’m pleasantly surprised and thrilled with how quickly and easily everyone - especially those who are regularly in my inbox - accepted Naoaki into this blog’s storyline, even though he isn’t technically blog canon. It just makes me so happy. I’m so glad you love the boy as much as I do.
