Mod Jack here. The following is a slight mess of different thoughts that sum up my reaction to recent events.

Adam. What. The fuck.

TribeTwelve was my #1 series! I liked the world you crafted, the creatures that plagued it and the plucky-turned-bitter protagonist. Hell, it was one of several things that brought me and my partner together! It held a place in many people's hearts. And then it came out that you're not someone to be trusted, let alone fit to reign over a community you created.

Even if you manage to rebuild your image and somehow continue production by yourself, there's no point; you fucked up. You've lost the respect of so many people.

I hope you're proud of yourself.

EDIT: The section regarding a "plot leak" turned out to be a hoax. That aside, everything else still stands.

This looks awful. I was curious but it’s just so…overplayed? Like, this all looks like standard issue blood and gore and jumpscare horror, there’s zero subtlety! It feels like they based a lot of this movie on the girls who were “inspired” to try murdering their friend and not actual Slenderverse lore.

Fun fact: the script is apparently done by Victor Surge, the creator himself. So if he had a hand in making this movie, it means that he’s...somewhat hopeful about it?

Slender Man is directed by Sylvain White (The Losers) from a script by Slender Man creator Victor Surge. It stars Joey King (The Conjuring), Julia Goldani-Telles (The Affair), Jaz Sinclair (Paper Towns), Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil), and Javier Botet (The Conjuring 2) as Slender Man.

Slender Man is a tall, thin, horrific figure with preternaturally long arms and a featureless face. He is thought to be responsible for the haunting, stalking, and disappearance of countless victims.

As much as we’re elated that Irma spared Florida and northern states the full wrath of a category 4+ hurricane, there’s still a great deal of damage from coast to coast, and much more so in the Caribbean as whole islands suffered an unprecedented town wiping category 5+ storm. HURRICANE IRMA FUNDRAISING

Mod Jack here. TribeTwelve community member Maligerent has pitched the idea of doing fundraising for the Rosner family and the Cape Coral community to cover damages caused by Hurricane Irma.

This is something I’m doing. Post-storm we’ll see what needs to be done but we can use absolutely everyone’s help on this.

UPDATE: Not only was Irma extremely degraded by the time it hit the Fort Myers area (Cat 2 instead of Cat 4), she practically went around Cape Coral entirely to the east thus reducing the risk of extreme flooding due to storm surge.

So it’s likely very minimal damage has been done to Adam’s home. It is too dark and the power is out, meaning that it is still too dangerous to venture outside, so there’s no way of telling if there has been any damage at all. But once it’s known for sure, I will be updating again.

If there hasn’t been much damage at all, then we will see about directing fundraising efforts towards those far more affected by the storm.
