Name: Setsuna Togata(通形背綱)
背 means back(as in the body), 綱 means head rope(in Japanese, it means ‘something to rely on’ in figurative speech). Hence, combined, the name Setsuna means “Someone to rely your back on” - A good father. Also, Setsuna sounds the same as Japanese word for ‘刹那’, which means split second. So the name also represents his career for journalist, who has to capture the moment of heroes.
Occupation: Pro-Hero Journalist Favorite food: Anmitsu, Parfeit, Macaroon Favorites: Comedy, His son(naturally), Camera, Sunflower Dislikes: His editor-in-chief(?!), Wrong gossips, Spicy food Height: 170cm -He is a great chef. -He is currently a single-dad. -He has a sweet tooth. VERY sweet tooth. -He is calm and gentle, but when he snaps, he usually quietly stares. -He has the same quirk as his son, permeation.

-He is Setsuna in AU. In canon, Mirio’s dad gave up on becoming a pro-hero, but Setsuna in this AU thrived through all odds to become one! -Since he chose his path and achieved it, he is full of confidence. -He achieved his dream of becoming a pro-hero, so his next dream is to be the best dad in the world. -His code name is Red Comet because the way he moves from place to place at extreme speed using his quirk and a red cape made him look like a red comet.

-He is Mirio of LRC AU. -Unlike Canon Mirio, he is very serious in everything, especially in academics. He aims to be a pro-hero like his dad, but always has a pressure he might not cut it or ruining dad’s reputation. That’s what made him want to go to Shiketsu High School, where the atmosphere is much stricter than UA. -He may look stern, but he is warm inside. -He secretly has a crush on Deku, who saw him as Mirio, not son of Red Comet for the first time.

-He is the villain version of Setsuna. -He was a former spy who was working under AFO using his permeation quirk, but he realized he had to change for his son, so he gave up after Shigaraki took over from AFO. -He was used to be bullied severely by his fellow students at school, and his father was ignorant about it. So he ran away from home and had a harsh time on the street. Then AFO took him in after seeing his quirk as a useful thing. -He was acting very cynical as a villain, but after he gave up on being a villain, his true nature of timid and gentleness came through.

-He is Mirio of Eavesdrop AU. -He used to be a shut-in at home, sheltered by his dad all his life. Eavesdrop felt the dangers of the outside world after all the mistreatment he got. But as Eavesdrop decided to change his life, he let him out and taught him all about the outside world. -Tsukauchi rescued E Mirio from danger and helped him reconcile with his dad. Since then, E Mirio admired policemen and dreams of working in a police force one day. That’s why he is enrolling in the Department of General Education of UA. -He is in class 1-C and befriended Shinso and Midoriya.
