Ahhh I hope Alana is okay! When I get sensory overload (ADHDer here) it usually helps to remove outside stimulus, kind of?? I usually shut myself in my room to minimize sound, pull down the blinds to minimize light, and curl up with my blanket for comfort, kind of like a barrier from everything else (plus the consistent light pressure and touch is actually calming??) I really hope Zoe can help calm her down!

(Kinda directed to mod, kinda the characters(use this as you want)) When helping someone who is experiencing sensory overload, it’s better if one person approaches them first because a group can cause it to become worse. Also sometimes the person can get embarrassed about it and might get defensive and deny it. (I have ADHD and fall right on the border for Aspergers Syndrome so I experience sensory overload and my social anxiety makes me get a bit defensive about it)
