hiiii keith! what was your first crush like?

not sure what this has to do with defending the universe, but...it was weird. i think i was like 10? it was before i joined the garrison, anyway, and i was just at some public school in texas and this boy sat in front of me and whenever the teacher wanted us to find a partner he'd always turn around and pick me. i asked him why and he basically said it was "because you're closest," but we kept being partners even after our seating chart got rearranged. at that point his reason was that he was just used to it.

i left that school (and town) pretty quickly, though, so i never figured out if we were friends or if he maybe liked me back or whatever. i still wonder about him sometimes, and i kinda wish i'd stuck around because i'm pretty sure we were the only gay kids in a 50 mile radius and it would've been nice to like support each other through that and stuff.

honestly? not really, everything is pretty normal around here. you’ve got your classic black space void, deadly man-eating monsters, strange space food. just the usual! although my favorite socks have been mysteriously absent lately…

this was a VERY good idea, anon. i showed the first one to them, and here’s what i got:

coran was very focused on which aliens they did and didn’t get right. turns out that he’s met a few like greedo? but mostly it was him going “oh hoh, as if you could pull THAT on a snaffler!” or some kind of thing like that. he says it’s very fantastical

allura really liked princess leia and she hates han solo. she says to tell you guys that she hopes he dies in the next one we watch

romelle was mostly very confused about the order of the movies and why we started on episode four (which is fair)

overall i’d call it a roaring success! i’ll keep showing them more of the movies and see what they think of them :3 -lance

i was just wondering: did anyone of you ever show allura, romelle and/or coran a movie from earth? if so, what movie was it, and what was the reaction? 👀

i once showed them the movie sharknado! allura and romelle didn’t really get it, but coran told me there’s an alien planet where “something akin to this phenomenon is known to happen”! he said it’s “quite deadly” 😅 - lance

what is everyone doing for summer fun?!!?!!?

me and lance have decided we're going to figure out the pool. we tried to get hunk and pidge to help, but they said it would be a "good learning experience" for us to do it on our own which i think is just an excuse to not have to deal with lance's constant whining about nothing making sense.

we're making pretty good progress though? -keith

for me, i had a crush on a boy in like 3rd grade, but i didn’t understand what it was so i just tried to ignore it. he moved away eventually…then in middle school i met hunk and got an INSANE crush on him. he politely turned me down 💙 but it was what made me realize i really was bi lol - lance
