Schizoid Personality Disorder - Demystifying the DSM-V

A character with this disorder is detached and distant from other people, and don’t really express their emotions when around other people. They’re perpetual loners.

They need four or more of the following:

The character doesn’t want or enjoy close relationships (INCLUDING with their family members)

They virtually always choose solitary activities

They don’t have much (or any) interest in having sex

They don’t find pleasure in most activities

They don’t have close relationships (aside from close relatives) 

They don’t care about being praised or criticized by other people.

They seem emotionally cold, and don’t express much emotion. 

This can’t occur only during the course of: schizophrenia, bipolar/depressive episode with psychotic features, other psychotic disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and it’s not another medical condition.
