Went to a brewery for lunch and beer as a whole family (well, minus the cat and reptiles obviously). Too hot for outdoor activities and this one allows dogs indoors and was slow enough on a Monday for him to be more or less on his best behavior.

Kept his composure around a big red Doberman (who looks a lot like the one in our complex who terrifies him) and got to discover the joy of messy toddlers (as at home he is locked up when the kid eats)

I keep oscillating between hating the idea of a golden, and coveting one so bad it hurts?

#I generally like my dogs friendly but indifferent to strangers and Goldens are not known to be that #then again I was told poodles were that and mine is very much not so.

I wish I could just hang out on the couch like this all day too, but I have to go to work :(

It’s currently 98 degrees Fahrenheit outside so this is about all he gets to do today.

enrichment doesn’t have to be difficult/expensive/time consuming for most animals. usually you just need to find the right size of cardboard box

Someone called asking to bring in her new toy poodle puppy and I told her I would take her immediately, please gimme puppy

These pictures make her seem larger than she was. I wish I had after photos because she came out so wonderfully fluffy 🥰

Also probably the most well behaved puppy I’ve ever had. You can tell that the breeder worked with her before she went home (so rare amongst our clients).
