“Perhaps.” He crossed his arms over his chest. “You haven’t proved that you’re better than I.” He ignored her comment earlier. It would be a waste to dwell on such a little thing.

"And why should I have to prove anything to you?" She sneered, as while she didn't see herself as superior she definitely didn't like the idea of being seen as inferior. Guess it was just wounded pride something that she had despite what people assumed of lust demons. Not all of them were sex driven maniacs like people believed.

"If you want proof, then I rather we have a fight. Maybe getting your ass kicked will teach you to respect your elders." Damian challenged slightly with eyes narrowed at the other.

“Don’t flatter me, Fool.” He gave her a cold smile from that comment. Perhaps he was but truthfully he was not. He chose to be alone, nothing but unwelcoming to the unworthy presence of a lust hungry woman. She should consider herself lucky for wasting his time on her.

Vergil tilted his head to the side as he met her gaze when he heard her enter the room he stood. He turned his body to her and started to walk toward her. As soon as he was standing in front of her, he placed a hand on her shoulder and bent to her height only to kiss her cheek rather softly as a special little greeting.

This will only be the first and maybe the last time he’ll ever place a kiss against any part of her skin.
