All you have to do is change one single word. Instead of allowing your little to say "can you change my diaper" require them to ask "can you check my diaper"

All of a sudden they seem so much more helpless, they don't even know if they need a change or not. They just seem so unsure all of a sudden. Even if their intention is to get it changed you've turned a request into them asking for help and that is adorable.

At first, they were just making your meals.

Soon, they were enforcing a bedtime.

Then, they were making you use the bathroom, "Just in case," before you left the house.

Now?

You're sitting in your crib in a messy diaper, waiting obediently for them to come change you.
