After the short trip to the highlands, we came back to Kuala Lumpur. And guess what: IT'S MALAYSIA DAY! a few impressions:
It's been a while since i've uploaded the last picture. In the meantime, we've been at the Cameron Highlands on a weekend. Such a beautiful scenery up there, especially the tea plantation fields.
I <3 mountains.
Sunset: beautiful view just from my balcony.
Weekend trip to the Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur. Many monkeys living there (watch out, they steal your bags and food!). Quite exciting and afterwards we went to the Little India in KL
Armin doing his graffiti-artwork for the freshies night at the Limkokwing University
Local Food just next to our accommondation, this time: burger
Homeparty at Andrews place.
Raggae-Bar Chinatown KL
Another Day in KL City:
This time with a few fellow students from Germany. Exploring the Downtown
Still Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur
Due to the limitations I can only upload 10 pictures at once, I'll just upload another post with few more pictures from Kuala Lumpur.
Day 2 - First time in Kuala Lumpur
This city is big - I mean really big... (I saying this although I'm ready used to big chinese cities). But the impressions are quite different. On the one hand, we got the modern skyscrapers and on the other hand, these old slums like China-Town, oder Little India... but still beautiful!
The "first" day
After a very hungry sleep, we got our first meal in the cafeteria down there and ate some rice with noodles and everykindofchinesefoodyoucanimagine on it. Later we met some other students living up in the cyber heights village in putrajaya with the awesome view out of their balcony (btw really cool guys). Evening we've managed to get to a place called "Alamanda" which is honestly speaking just one big shopping complex (sth. like these Arcaden in Germany). There you can get everything you need: cheap food, famous brands, supermarket, moneychanger and much more.
But the best part of the evening was Sem, we met a 50 years old taxidriver who is driving you for really good prices (no cheating) and he is hearing very loud dubstep music everyday.
Be sure to call him whenever you need a cab in malaysia :D
Arrival at night! Staying at the off-campus accommodation for the next few months. The rooms are OK-good, also with air-conditioner for just 340RM per month (around 80€). Outside we have a pool and a sports field to play Basketball and Badminton. That's it so far, I'm pretty tired and hungry right now D: (due to the ramadan-holidays, all stores are closed at this time).
