I find your lack of whimsy disturbing

BAM! You've been hit with a love dart! Spread the love and send this to 10 other people to show how much they are loved!
you make it so hard for me to uphold my dark and gloomy persona.. love you <3
im tired of being mean its bad for my health i want to be nice now so no one be stupid ever again so i dont have to be mean to you
okay so we talk a lot about the themes of friendship in bad buddy and the way bad buddy is such a deeply queer show, but i havenāt seen anyone talking about those two things as a unite.
like part of what makes bad buddy so amazing is the relationships between queer characters, and it really does showcase an amazing aspect of queer friendships throughout. like the fact that pat, pran, ink, and pa were all friends in high school and drifted together and became so close only for all of them to later come out and realize theyāre queer is SUCH a common thing in real life queer friendships.
queer people find each other! we find community in each other sometimes even before we know weāre queer. and i really love the way bad buddy not only showcases queer people and their romantic relationships, but also the friendships we make together.
pat and pa being siblings that grew up under the same scrutiny and were there for each other when they came out. pat and ink forging a friendship and pat developing feelings for her only for ink to be pivotal in helping him realizing where his true feelings lie and being there for him through it. pran and ink connecting despite their short time together and pran not once resenting her for being the girl pat liked and the two of them becoming close. pa and pran growing up close despite their families hating each other and bonding further once pat and pran get together. even the two couples being real friends before they got together!
itās just so nice to see a show that showcases queer friendships in such a positive light. i just love this show man :ā)

Not Me ep 1 + text posts
I think the softest lesson Bad Buddy taught me was that love does not have to feel like a revolution. I don't need to scream my love on the rooftops or wave it in front of anybody's face. I can love sitting on my balcony, surrounded by candles, wearing my softest shirt and making eyes at the love of my life. My love does not have to be loud for it to be real.
I'm once again crying over the fact that Bad Buddy is a project that radiates positivity and hope from start to finish, someone finally did it, created the best explictly canon queer romance filled with everything we've always dreamt of, they made a story especially for us that checked off all the right boxes. And everything we feared was because we are so used to being fed with subpar representation and it feels surreal that BBS team personally held our hands and said, "I know this and I understand you, I feel the same and I'm going to set everything gloriously right"
And now that we've established hiding the relationship was a playful subversion, I want to yell about how this is the first time watching two characters hide their relationship which managed to document the same exhilaration and head rush of romance that het love stories have been portraying for eons, how this is not at all something specifically related to queer people but it's just a story about two lovers who will brave whatever adversity life throws at them and stop at nothing to be together!!
From now on, I refuse to watch things that don't rise to the golden standard patpran have set. It feels insane to wake up this morning after that rollercoaster finale feeling invincible like I can do anything in life, I hope we never let go of this feeling and come back to the show whenever we need to remember it
because no one, and I mean NO ONE has done this for queer people!
ā[ā¦] but they couldnāt stop their hearts from falling in love.ā
āthat character is problematicā i am sick and twisted. next
āthat character is irredeemableā god i hope so. i hope they get worse
