The positive of being married to financially abusive narcissist is that we have very few vacation/travel/memories together. This means I don't have any bad feelings about anyplace I travel. It's all new and fresh and safe because he never existed in those places.

I took my boys to California a few years ago and it was refreshing to be able to make plans and go anywhere without someone sneering, complaining, and having a manufactured breakdown when he noticed anyone having a good time. He did this in several places, but thankfully it was limited and we never went back.

We did a East Coast road trip that was exciting and later went to NYC.

There are some men that marry a month after their wives die and then there is a man that named a bright spot of the moon after his wife who died 6 years ago. A man that honors his wife, honors his children, honors his home is worth his weight in gold.

Wairing until I find my real love. In the meantime, family, friends, fighting for humanity in all ways.

The first time I got flowers without asking/begging for them was from my son. He bought me a huge bouquet for Mother's Day. ❤️

I think I raised him right. 😀

Also I make it a point to do their birthdays up. No one is too old for a birthday cake, party, balloons, etc. No accomplishment is too small. I love to celebrate all that they are and what they will be.

In the past 2 years, I've lost a lot of weight. So much so that some people who I haven't seen in a bit were shocked. I'm not working out. I know this is just depression and being overwhelmed and overworked.

But what strikes me as especially odd is how everyone is treating either much better or are super intimidated by me. Now I have had to buy some new clothes since most of what owned before doesn't fit.

So while in the process of getting new clothes, I decided to up my style game. I started hitting thrift stores and watching YouTube videos on fashion. 😆

It's a great way to decompress and distract me.

But I will always fight for 🇵🇸, 🇨🇩 🇸🇩
