      frustration was heavily evident in her expression, her perfect mouth compressed into a thin line. why was it so hard to face him? to simply apologize? but what could be done -- after all, she made her decision to move forward after such an icy farewell. and now, standing in a wide-open field of daisies, she was confronted with her feelings. 

“ i... hadn’t expected you to be here...”

it was a silly question -- it was the middle of nowhere and she needed a breather from her group ; perhaps he needed the same. worry suddenly furrowed at her brow -- was he alright?

"Celicaaaaa." He said her name softly, it falls off his lips so easily as he as said it time and time again. Alm let his figure lay against hers from behind whilst hands took heed of her waist. "Our time is short. Let us not waste it." His started to lay his kisses on her neck, soon spreading to her jaw where he pressed himself closer to her skin. Desires exposed when he gripped Celica's chin and leading it to face him. He met her with a kiss, closing the gap between that always felt miles away.

          ❃.✮:▹ : upon feeling his lips press against the sensitive flesh of her neck, she let out a soft shuddering moan -- her body felt hot, overwhelmingly so as he continued to pepper sweet kisses to her jawline. her light rose-stained lips were already parted when he cupped her chin, almost begging for their mouths to meet. once he closed the gap between them, all of her composed, submissive behavior left the woman completely. her kiss was fierce, bruising, almost painful if not for the delicious sensation of her being in love. their secret meetings, were always full of passion but this one was filled with a new sense of urgency. she thought it scandalous -- to be doing something like this on his coronation day but celica really couldn’t care less. departing with a shaky breath, the princess ( one day to be his queen, he reminded her ) turned herself around and with a force, she didn’t know she possessed, pushed him against the stone of the royal hall. 

“s-sorry...” she told him absently and while she truly meant it from the bottom of her heart, she was far more interested in getting to her goal. 

“the people are waiting for you alm... but... i need you far more...” she purred sweetly.

        a frown pulled at soft lips, as her face steadily became even more displeased with the army’s performance. the events of the previous battle took a toll on even the strongest heroes and as such, many of them suffered wounds of various degrees. she was among the many to not be deployed to the battlefield at the time, having agreed to be one of the medics this time around. with a heavy sigh, her fingertips aglow with light -- the soothing aura and warmth of healing flame at her disposal, celica noticed the sounds of footsteps coming towards her right and stopping. 

       “do you need something?” 

her tone came across far colder than anticipated but she felt it was her duty to help aid those in need and so, she was in a rush.

           “well, now... aren’t you just full of energy? this competition is most exciting so, I can’t blame you.” scarlet hues were wide with amazement, seeing such a large crowd of many from differing worlds all gathered for one event. clasping her hands together, she couldn’t stifle her delighted giggle. 

         “it seems we are bonded together for this match. i pray my abilities will assist you.”

☆.｡.:* :  “y--you...” she was touched deeply, though these words were uttered often from his lips. porcelain cheeks flushed slightly as her arms to wrap around his neck. his smile, like the sun was everything to celica. such affection filled her days with warmth and in that moment, she never wanted to leave his side. he was blessed with a lift of rose-colored tiers and a gentle giggle.
