"Don’t justify my actions." He stopped moving his hands and exhaled, moving away from Scout to peer down at him and share his gaze. "Sure it’s my job to protect the Intel, but what kind of nasty bloke puts the people he cares about over his work?" He gave a weak smile,...
"Right you are.." The kiss was too quick, but soft and sweet and just what he needed at that moment.
He remained silent when Scout broke the kiss, muttering something that Sniper took a few moments to digest.
"Scout... I've already missed you." A large smile broke out on his face and he began chuckling at his own horrible joke. He took the runner into another kiss, this one a bit longer and very purposely deeper than the last. "...That was horrible I promise to never say that again. Even though I meant it." It hadn't even been that long, but he'd missed Scout the moment he left.

Snapchat conversations are hard because eventually you just run out of selfie poses so you end up taking pictures of the couch or something
Sniper didn’t miss a beat once the camper door was shut and locked. His arms went right back around the shorter man, holding him so close he could feel that every heart beat made him tremble a little more. This wasn’t a game anymore than this was work, but now it was just...
"Don't justify my actions." He stopped moving his hands and exhaled, moving away from Scout to peer down at him and share his gaze. "Sure it's my job to protect the Intel, but what kind of nasty bloke puts the people he cares about over his work?" He gave a weak smile, squeezing the sides of the runner's arms as he held him still. "I shouldn't have done that. And even if you say you forgive me, I know its still buggin' you." He bit his lip as he struggled to come up with another thought. Everything in his head felt like it was becoming irrelevant.
"But now we know what not to do right?" He was trying his best to lighten the mood, grinning down at him. "I guess we'll just avoid each other on the field as best we can. I mean.. I don't normally move anyway." The frown returned to his face. "But we have this time together and that's what matters."
*pretends to be mentally stable*
im crying I just wanted to snipe some dingos
He was right, or course. The longer he stayed her the more likely the chances were of them getting caught. And he wasn’t sure what the penalty was but it couldn’t have been good. You were seen as a traitor if you did things like this, and so therefore no one had really done a...
Sniper didn't miss a beat once the camper door was shut and locked. His arms went right back around the shorter man, holding him so close he could feel that every heart beat made him tremble a little more. This wasn't a game anymore than this was work, but now it was just torture. Of them, and probably to silent members of the teams. This was effecting everyone differently.
"We did what we had to. For ourselves." He rubbed the runner's back lightly, exhaling a shaky breath and squeezing his eyes shut in the darkness of the camper. "I forgive you." but he still needed Scout to forgive him, although he didn't exactly expect him to.
Sniper could remember vividly each and every time Scout had visited his camper. He wore his big dopey grin, always looking to cause him trouble or to make his day interesting. Nothing about the young mercenary was boring, he was always full of life. And they would sit together and talk about their kills and the things the other mercenaries said to them. They had a good laugh. But there was no laughing now. The camper they once saw as their safe haven from the rest of the men would forever have this memory attached to it. For better or worse.
Sniper could hear how his outburst was effecting the other and relaxed right away. The young runner was shaking and he looked like he was getting smaller and smaller with every second.
There was a moment of sad, but deafening silence.
"……Fuck."
He closed the space between...
He was right, or course. The longer he stayed her the more likely the chances were of them getting caught. And he wasn't sure what the penalty was but it couldn't have been good. You were seen as a traitor if you did things like this, and so therefore no one had really done a thing like this before. And gotten caught.
"Yeah. Let's go." His response was a bit premature, because he kept still and gripping onto the other for a little longer before he finally let him go so they could actually get somewhere. And when he began to walk he kept the other close to him, in a moment of pure desperation, grabbing the young runner's hand and holding onto it for dear life, as if he would drift away and never come back.
He was never too far away from the mess of the two bases, and how damn close they were to eachother. But he much preferred being close to the base than actually sleeping in it. He always thought of sleeping as his one giant break, and treated it like that.
The large camper was given a rather hasty parking job but all that mattered to him, was that it was on flat ground and that no one tampered with it. He'd only once had to get someone to bugger off, but now they usually just avoided the camper at all cost.
"Here.." he quickly unlocked the back door of the camper and pulled himself up. And hesitantly, he released Scout's hand.
