Exactement.
Fuck you!
I got here from CringeAnarchy
The worst part is that this comic is 100% serious
As in:
An anti-SJW didnât make this to troll or prove a point
Let that sink in
Cringe about sums up pretty much every comic on that page
Fuck this gay earth
Woah, imagine being this unlikeable.
Seriously, this girl (who draws those comics) is one of the most horrible person I have ever encountered.
This one is pretty important. As a child, my brothersâ support has been crucial.
Wow, I think itâs the first and only comic strip NOT against cis people that you updated⊠Was about time.
Ah fuck you avec ton patriarcat caliss.
Ok <3
i fucking hate this webcomic
You know the person who draws it is like 30 and for some reason her blatant self insert is 11 or younger and acts like a college student
Why do you say that? You donât like my comic? Why, except the fact that you obviously donât like me personally?Â
Iâm neither 30 nor is the main character my self insert.
looking at you, redmayne
The thing is though, for the first one, thatâs how Lili Elbe discovered she was trans in real life- she posed in womenâs clothing for a painting and found out she felt natural in it. And as for the second oneâŠit was the 1910âČs, how do you think Lili was going to react?
This has slightly less justification in a movie/show/etc. taking place in the US in modern times. But please, for the love of God, donât have a kneejerk reaction to a piece of media taking place in the past or in a country outside the US! Especially for a biographical piece of media!
The funniest part about this? Assigned Maleâs nonbinary character, Ciel, originally discovered they were genderfluid after Stephie pressured them to put on a figure skating dress over a cowboy costume:
A+ writing would recommend 10/10 [/sarcasm]
Seriously, Sophie?
omg that was bad, sorry about that!
thereâs a reason why I took it down of the website... :P
also, I guess youâre not even following the comic, but Cielâs backstory has been made much more complex around strip 160-170. But usually haters donât bother reading it.
My best
Sophie
YOUR LIFE IS A PHASEâŠ
XD this is great
Wish this came from a more respectable comic
Sorry to be so awesome B|
âFriends donât out friends without their consent.â
And they donât grab them by the shoulder without consent either!
Yesterdayâs events in Albuquerque were amazing! Thank you for everyone who came - you filled the room and my heart with so much love! And huge thanks to the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico for organizing them! You rock!
aw I wish Iâd known (that there was something going on locally). :c ah well lots of stuff was going on yesterday.
Iâll be at the youth group meeting at the Trans Resource Center in Albuquerque this afternoon, if youâre under 25! :)
Misgendering a pet vs misgendering a trans person.
âThe disagreement over pronoun use is a political one.
The masculine pronoun may no longer, acceptably, be used as if it were generic and included women, for instance. I have chosen to use pronouns that indicate the biological sex of the persons whose work is discussed here for a number of reasons. Â The first is that the biological sex of transgender persons does not change and use of the pronoun of origin indicates this. This is politically important, since it is useful for feminists to know the biological sex of those who claim to be women and promote prejudicial versions of what constitutes womanhood. Â Also, use by men of feminine pronouns conceals the masculine privilege bestowed upon them by virtue of having been placed in and brought up in the male sex caste. If men are addressed as âsheâ, then all this privilege, which affects their speaking position and may be crucial to their choice to be âwomenâ in the first place, is disappeared. Â Another reason for adherence to pronouns that indicate biology is that, as a feminist, I consider the female pronoun to be an honorific, a term that conveys respect. Respect is due to women as members of a sex caste that have survived subordination and deserve to be addressed with honour. Men who transgender cannot occupy such a position.â
-Sheila Jeffreys
lol I canât believe people seriously thought that at a point in humanityâs history! Iâm so glad the 70s are over! :D
normally i love this cute little comic and appreciate its messages but today i canât get behind it
friend, you drew cielâs lil bro with his feet the wrong way in the last panel
omg wat
how did I
wat
fixing that right now!!
as for the message. well today there are no message. Just cuteness.
Stephie, I appreciate your sarcasm.
I normally donât like Assigned Male but I love sarcasm so this one is good.
âliberalâ? XD
I thought your comics had validated biological sex as a legitimate thing, by claiming sex and gender were distinct. Correct me if Iâm wrong I might be thinking of trans girl next door. Anyway validating sex as a real thing but distinct from gender is a cornerstone of liberal trans feminism. Sorry if I have the wrong comicâŠ
yeah, wrong comic. I keep mocking the construct of âbiological sexâ :P
Oh jesus Iâm sorry I should actually read your comic before I start spouting bullshit like that :(
you should I heard itâs good ;)
Stephie, I appreciate your sarcasm.
I normally donât like Assigned Male but I love sarcasm so this one is good.
