PERHAPS    THE    SECURITY    WITHIN    THE    COMPOUND    ITSELF    WAS    LAX ,          if    such    personal    belongings    were    to    be    taken    by    others    then    tighter    measures    should    be    taken  –––––––––          but    did    tony    not    encourage    sharing ?     others    suggested    otherwise ,       NATURALLY ,       and    yet    maybe    he    should    take    tony’s    word    for    it  ;           so    long    as    it    was    only    coffee    or    tea .      it    could    be    worse !                 ❛     a    2    year    old ?     are    the    terrible    twos    as    terrible    as    they    say ?    ❜               

his    nod    is    hardly    assured ,       lips    press    firm    as    he    watches    her    hand    placement  ,       she’s    got    it ,      but    standing    by    never    sat    well    with    him .       troubled    expression    is    allowed    a    reprieve ,    a    lopsided    smile    manages    to    work    its    way    across    his    mouth .                 ❛     no    i    do    when    there’s    an    occasion ,     or    any    excuse    for    a    celebrate    that    tony    comes    up    with  –––––––––––      which    y’know ,    happens    often ,   ❜              a    pause ,      and    he    has    to    reach    and    help    push    the    door    open    a    little    wider ,                 ❛   i    usually    go    for    milk    and    two    sugars ,      an    old    friend    of    mine    from    england    taught    me    how    to    make    it    once    before    the    war    and    i’ve    never    been    able    to    have    it    any    differently    ever    since .    never    liked    the    idea    of    breaking    a    70    year    habit .    ❜              

She’d  never  dare  touch  much  else  of  Tony’s  belongings  other  than  his  coffee.  It  was  an  unspoken  knowledge  between  the  two  of  them.  Yet,  Lia  also  worried  that  once  he  found  out  she  took  his  Jamaican  blend  she’d  get  reprimanded.  Then  again:  it  could  be  worse.  A  chuckle  followed  the  question,  ❛   Her  terrible  two’s  started  at  six  months.  She’s  a  diva  that  is  for  sure.  Though  she’s  not  that  bad.  Has  a  terrible  attitude  at  times,  but  I’ll  admit  she  gets  that  from  me.   ❜   A  smile  of  fondness  follows  the  thought  of  her  daughter,  and  while  August  was  still  young,  Lia  knew  she’d  grow  out  of  the  attitude,  hopefully.  

Even  though  she  was  slowly  feeling  that  stinging  pain  in  her  biceps,  she  kept  moving  forward.  She’d  lifted  worse.  Though  listening,  she  can’t  help  but  laugh  a  bit,  ❛   I  can  agree  with  that.  At  least  you’re  celebrating  instead  of  being  the  cleanup  crew.  And  no  offense,  but  you  guys  are  messy.  ❜   She  remarked,  silently  thanking  him  with  a  brief  lipped  smile  as  she  edged  her  way  through  the  door.  Her  head  turned  a  bit  with  a  smile,  ❛   Must  be  a  British  thing  then,  since  I  can  agree  to  your  friend’s  preference.  Though  I  add  three  rather  than  two.  Four  if  I  feel  adventurous.  Your  friend  has  good  taste.  ❜   She  commented  lightly,  ❛   Sounds  like  a  good  habit  to  have.  Do  you  have  a  preferred  tea?  Jasmine?  Camomile?  Peppermint?   ❜  She  asked,  readjusting  her  hold  as  she  walked  forward,  arms  just  slightly  straining  though  keeping  a  hold.

i plan on picking up activity again on here! i’m gonna be adding gwen back over here as well as peter parker ( mcu / canon-divergent ), maybe mary jane watson ( insomniac game based ), i’ve also thought about adding star lord or scott lang.

Lianna’s  first  worry  was  the  glass,  but  then  her  second  was  about  how  expensive  they  were.  And  now  there  was  a  witness  so  she  can’t  lie  and  say  they  were  damaged  in  the  mail.  GREAT.  ❛   Listen,  why  don’t  I  make  you  a  deal?  Don’t  tell  Tony  so  I  won’t  get  fired.  I  think  that’s  a  pretty  good  deal  and  I  think  we  should  shake  on  it.   ❜   Lia’s  hand  shot  out  awkwardly,  though  she  knew  her  desperation  was  practically  reeking  at  that  point.  ❛   Please,  Ms.  Maximoff?   ❜

INSTINCT    TELLS    HIM    TO    LEAVE    AND    GET    FROM    UNDER    HER    FEET ,                        but    in    returning    home    steve    would    only    resume    his    attention    upon    the    files .              what    good    would    that    do ?            offer    sounded    too    good ,       it    was    unlikely    he    would    find    enough    peace    to    rest    his    head    without    some    form    of    distraction ,      and    he    would    not    find    that    at    home   –––––––––––––         SOLITUDE    DIDN’T    ALWAYS    SUIT    HIM .            files    are    returned    to    their    place    upon    the    shelves ,    tucked    away    within    their    box    where    they    should   remain             (   he’ll    try    harder    to    avoid    them    next    time   )             and    he    nods    slowly .                   ❛   i    take    it    this    isn’t    the    first    time    you’ve    stolen    from    stark ?        can’t    say    he’d    be    too    happy    if    i    told    him .    ❜                   stoic    expression    cannot    last    for    long ,      he    has    to    smile . 

he    approaches    the    door ,     overcome    with    a    need    to    move    away    from    the    files    steve    has    poured    his    attention    over    for    the    majority    of    the    evening .         the    thought    of    them    burns    and   ushers    him    away .                   ❛   at    this    point    i    think    i’d    take    anything .    ❜                 hands    find    jean    pockets ,    and    he    gestures    with    a    nod    to    the    items    in    her    hands ,                 ❛    want    any    help    with    that ?    ❜                

While  Lia  knew  she  was  expendable,  she  also  knew  Tony  knew  that  she  got  into  his  COFFEE.  She’d  been  caught  red-handed  before,  received  a  lecture,  then  moved  on  about  her  life,  still  stealing  his  coffee.  They’d  came  to  a  mutual  agreement,  that  as  long  as  she  didn’t  touch  the  Jamaican  mix,  she  could  take  what  she  wanted.  (  SPOILER  ALERT:  she  still  took  the  Jamaican  mix  )  Yet  she  gives  the  other  a  slight  amused,  though  mocked  unimpressed  look.  ❛   You  sound  like  my  2  year  old.  Nobody  likes  a  tattle-tale,  Mr.  Rogers.    ❜

Lianna  briefly  turned  her  attention  back  to  the  box,  though  with  slight  strain,  she  held  a  firm  grip  on  it.  ❛   No  thank  you,  I’ve  got  it.   ❜   She  remarked  with  a  reassuring  grin,  offering  a  slight  nod  as  well.  ❛   I  may  not  look  like  it,  but  I’ve  got  some  muscle.   ❜   Arms  gesture  slightly  from  the  box  as  she  waddled  her  way  forward  towards  the  door.  ❛   I’ve  got  stronger  drinks  in  Tony’s  liquor  stash.  Unless  you  don’t  drink.  I  don’t  know  your  stance  on  that.  God,  sorry  for  assuming.   ❜   She  rambled,  though  when  did  she  ever  really  stop  talking.  ❛   I’ll  just  stick  with  the  coffee  and  tea.   ❜  Lia  remarked  with  a  nod  to  herself  as  she  opened  the  door  (  with  much  difficulty  )  with  her  hand,  ❛  Do  you  have  a  preference?  Sugar?  Milk?  Cream?   ❜

❛   No  need  to  apologize,  I’ve  done  my  own  fair  share  of  all-nighters.   ❜    Her  accent  poked  through  her  words  with  a  slight  laugh.  Lianna  had  just  been  lucky  enough  to  get  the  night  shift,  and  by  lucky,  she’d  shown  up  late  for  work  three  days  in  a  row  and  this  was  how  she  was  being  punished.  ❛   If  you’re  staying,  I  can  make  some  coffee  in  the  break  room  up  here.  I  have  a  key  to   Mr.  Stark’s  personal  stash,  aka  the  good  stuff.   ❜   If  she  was  stuck  looming  the  compound  all  night,  why  not  enjoy  herself?  And  digging  into  Tony’s  personal  collection  of  coffee?  That  was  the  perfect  thing  to  kick  off  her  night.

Though  she  pretended  not  to  catch  a  glimpse  at  whatever  he  was  looking  at,  instead  she  grabbed  the  next  box  of   goods  from  the  room  to  transport  them  to  the  front  desk.  ❛   All  I  know  is,  being  alone  this  late  usually  isn’t   a  good  sign.  I  also  don’t  mean  to  brag,  but  I  make  a  pretty  mean  caramel  macchiato.   ❜   To  say  she  was  desperate  for  company  was  pushing  it,  but  knowing  someone  else  besides  Harold  the  Janitor  was  still  around  was  a  slight  relief  to  her.  ❛   Or  if  you  don’t  like  coffee,  I  always  bring  tea  with  me.  It’s  imported  from  London.   ❜
