Mountain goat WIP by Paul Faber
Fall goat, mostly done with it. Just have hooves to fill, painting, and grooming left.
Pretty wet still in this pic, so the fur is all wonky. It’ll be nice to have it be finished. SO MUCH SEWING.

Sorry I haven't been very active guys! I've got a couple pelts and bones I'm working on, so I'll post pictures later.
Better pics of my new spotted hyena queen. I love her so fucking much. Look at that battle-scarred face and those big monster paws.
Alpaca Skull I recently finished cleaning.
This little oddball’s got an extra premolar. Alpacas generally only have two on each side of the upper jaws but this one has three on one side (shown in last photo). From what I’ve seen, alpacas and llamas seem to be quite prone to dental anomalies like these.
I’d planned on selling it but I think I might have to hang onto it for a little while…
Guinea pig skull.
Road kill blackbird I found today.
Top 10 roadkill finds
The top 10 most common roadkill types observed by this vulture:
Roadkilled twigs and branches
Roadkilled articles of clothing
Roadkilled cardboard boxes that look suspiciously like furry lumps
Roadkilled pieces of semi-truck tire resembling bird wings
Unidentifiable trash that definitely isn’t an animal
Hundreds of beer cans and bottles
A single apple with one bite taken out of it, recklessly flung into the road
“Pancake” that was probably a mammal, you think. Maybe
Roadkilled birds that you cannot legally possess under current legislation
Roadkill in good condition
Number 3 is so accurate oh my god
Will you post pics when you finish mounting the chicken nuggets
Sure!! No idea how long it will take me to get it done, my method of preservation was heat - it causes them to smell pretty good, and people keep eating them before I can finish. Here’s a WIP of my favourite specimen, the crested nugget, mounted on a vegetable burger:
I don’t know what’s happening but I love it
prettydeadstuff, your glorious nugget taxidermy has inspired me to create my newest assemblage piece. Allow me to unveil Where’s the Beef (Jerky)?
I’m gonna pee my pants
This is incredible
Hello there new followers! Welcome! I hope you enjoy the content of this blog!
Well it’s certainly no professional tan but the leather is pliable and the fur is absolutely amazing so I’d call these bunnies a first-time-tanning success!
Arctic Marble | Vulpes vulpes
I love working with the wonders of the natural world. This common marmoset is almost ready to leave the dermestid beetle tank!

Anyone know what this little dude is? (He isn’t dead, just faking it!) I haven’t touched him as I know bright colors is usually a bad thing.
Where did you find it
He was under a brick in the dirt!
