he doesn't advertise it by any means and it takes some doing t get him to agree to do it---but astaroth can, in fact, impart magic onto people by allowing them to latch onto his being, although this power can be very limited if he chooses and like any new “skill” will have to be learned over a stretch of time and practice as he doesn’t give the knowledge to use said magic.

in the same way, he can also make natural born magic users stronger, although that is very rare for him to do as it usually makes them strong enough to be unmanageable and even bind him entirely to their will.

either way eventually said person would be able to detach from him and still retain what they have.
