Be thankful that you're alive and healthy

Some people take life for granted. I can't even begin to comprehend that while we are breathing just fine, there are people out there struggling to breathe on their own without using an oxygen tank. While we are sitting down on tumblr, there is someone out there that's fighting to live just one more day. It breaks my heart knowing that people are throwing their lives away while others are fighting to get their life back. Some people take that for granted, and they don't realize that until it's too late.

Just remember who was there for you through your struggles. When everyone else left, who was there to push you forward. Remember the people who listened to you vent constantly about your life and who tried to make you smile by doing the stupidest things. The people who'd stay up all night to keep you company. The people who you can be yourself with and not feel the need to try to impress anyone. Only a few people like that come in your life. Don't let them go, because once they're gone. They're gone forever.

Can I skip to the part where I'm happily married to someone hot, with a good paying job that I love, and with kids?

I'm so proud of my cousin

He used to be the biggest drug addict i knew, he could not function without drugs. His life was a mess, he got terrible grades, he's been to Juvie several times, he just did not care about anything besides getting drunk and smoking. He chose the wrong friends, hung out with the wrong group. It got so bad that his parents sent him to rehab for months. But when he got out, nothing has changed. He was still the same person, he still did drugs all the time.

But something clicked. He started to realize he's throwing his life away. He realized that if he's still doing what he does he's either gonna be living on the streets, or get killed before he reaches 20. It's been 3 months, and he has not touched a bottle nor any drugs. I'm just so proud of him. He's an inspiration and someone to look up too. Yeah, he has a past; definitely not a clean one but he's changing, and I'm so happy that he realized that he doesn't want to be that person anymore. He wants to be someone you can look up too and right now, he's definitely a role model that anyone can change for the better it just takes dedication and passion.
