do you have any recommendations for someone with straight, shoulder length, naturally jet black hair (never been dyed before, ever)

sorry it took me a while to get back to you on this !! it depends if you want to do a full transformation or do something a little lower maintenance! dark reds and warm purples are the easiest vivids to do on naturally dark hair because of the underlying warm pigments in the hair, or if you want to go more natural a caramel higlight is always gorgeous! if you wanted to do a really vivid colour I would recommend doing a little root shadow so that the line isn't so harsh when your roots grow back in, or incorporate more of your natural into it - maybe a shine line/oil spill or peekaboo colour!
