looking at Shion’s expression, maybe had been a tad harsh and it was over a play that content’s didn’t exist but when it came to Shion’s love for No.6 it sickened him to the very bone of his flesh. To love such a place that disposes it’s inconveniences and thrives off the misery of others, it was absolutely disgusting. Just as he was turning back to the comforts of his bed, Shion’s voice broke the silence between them. It caught Nezumi’s attention, his back turning his grey eyes looking down at the body below him. As if the height difference between the two was a symbol of greater knowledge, a time where Nezumi could look down on Shion, for the knowledge Shion craved for was out of his reach.
If you say your not ignorant, then enlightenment me. ❜
( Tell me Shion. )
He listens carefully to Shion’s words and as he continues his eyes naturally been to widened with shock. His mind had always forgotten this was how Shion was, terrible at understanding woman but an incredibly powerful talker with no idea of it himself. Completely oblivious to the embarrassment most people would feel from saying such a thing, but for Shion he thought nothing of it. With that in mind he couldn’t help but let out another laugh.
haha you really have no insight. hahaha— ❜
The thought of Shion knowing more than he did already was almost frightening to Nezumi. It had stopped his laughing spree, and it got him thinking. Him and Shion were different, therefore there was no need for him to know about his past or anything to do with them. It was better for them to stay strangers.
&& YET.
Shion you have no idea what your saying. ❜
I can’t seem to take my eyes off you.
"..." he isn't sure how to perceive nezumi's response, yet again. a laugh was the last thing shion would expect-- but then again, nezumi altogether was someone unpredictable -- a reason towards shion's never-ending interest in him. words are spoken with much heart, and he'd hoped that he'd be heard with at least some understanding in the end. but this outcome is somewhat disappointing, causing shion to continue to frown even more so, his gaze snapping to nezumi's face once again, those mysterious grey eyes are always staring back, as if to beckon shion's curiosity even more so. "don't laugh at me, nezumi." instead of the prior persistence in his tone, now, shion answers as if defeated. he feels as if he can't ever win -- as if every conversation is some sort of competition. always having to prove himself -- and for what... to impress him? to make nezumi... proud? a moment passes before shion opts to leaning against the bedside, legs folding to rest beneath his chin. there's always so much shion can say, and yet every time he does so, nezumi will somehow find a way to silence him once again. there's no denying that he feels a little hurt, and sudden actions of curling himself into a ball proves that. harsh words are spoken to either shoot him down, or to educate him and encourage him to press forward. he hopes. "--it's true, nezumi. one day, i'll be able to see the world how you see it. i'll be able to understand so much more... i will prove to you." once shion's mind is set upon something, there is no stopping him.
