Mercurio attends Lord Inquisitor LaFey, his current master. Ramble under the cut

Abat Morgan LaFey, inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus, took in Mercurio after life saving surgery performed under sub optimal circumstances. Some say it was pity, others talked about his cold heart getting sentimental after having survived a very close dance with death. For one reason or another, Mercurio was transferred to his service short. Despite this supposed favor, Mercurio has seen none of that assumed pity or sentimentality, as he fell into the cold and unrelenting hands of a strict, controlling and cruel teacher who tolerates no mistakes and punishes every single wrongdoing. LaFey is quite famous for being one thing and one thing only: tolerant of the Xeno. He sees the Xeno as a minor inconvenient in the galaxy and sometimes an ally as he only cares for the Demon and the Heretic to be totally eradicated. Some say that, from time to time, he talks to his own sword as if it were living...

The plot of one of our roleplaying games revolves around a mercenary corporation trying to survive during the 37th millennium, when Sebastian Thor has just overthrown Vandire from his throne. We play as the leaders of this corporation, doing everything we can to establish ourselves in a new location. One of the ways to do that is by attending a social gala among the nobility, where we could make useful connections. Being a darkholder — a creature from the deepest holds of a voidship — Viscerion has no idea about the rules of high-society parties, so he plans to impress the nobles with his exotic looks and muscles.
