Rory shrugged, “Are you really that desperate to hang out with me? I’m not that special.”

"I -I'm not desperate, I have friends. I just thought it could be fun to hang out? I mean we are in the same year and everything."

"Tempting, but I’m going to have to say no." Rory grimaced back shaking her head. "No offense, you’re just way to perky for me right now."

Astra's smile faltered for just a second. "I could be less enthusiastic? Or at least try?"

"This mornings practice went so well, Ravenclaw is a force to be reckoned with." Astra smiled, full of pride. "Anyway I'm in such a good mood, want to do something?"

"It is fun, it’s really chilled out too. You’ll feel really mellow and just happy..hopefully." She thought for moment, as long as she doesn’t have a bad trip.

Astra made the connection to what she'd seen in movies and what Shay was saying. "Right, well that sounds nice? Why isn't it permitted?"

"Exactly, see you have the spirit. Awe, how couldn’t you trust something this fun though?" Shay rolled her eyes with a grin. "We all gotta start somewhere I won’t laugh."

"So its fun? What's it like, well, what can I expect?" She asked still following Shay, feeling like an annoying little kid tagging along with the older ones.

"That’s my girl." Shay beamed, wrapping an arm around the girls shoulders. She was happy Ash was at least open to trying, it was a start. "It’ll be fun, I won’t let you down."

"It's all in the name of learning and new experiences. And I trust you." Astra laughed a little. "You aren't allowed to laugh at me if I do it wrong."

Shay smirked and tilted her head. “You know you want to.” She grinned, “Yeah, sure why not. We’ll see about the studying part. Alright, come with me.”

Astra took a deep breath and tried to figure out what to do about the internal war of good vs bad in her mind. "Yep okay, I'm coming with you. To smoke some stuff and totally be normal." She said to herself, she felt giddy with excitement and a little fear,

"Exactly. They won’t ever look under her matresses." She shrugged, "Wanna go get it? We can see how much you want to study when you are baked like a cupcake."

Astra pouted and twisted her lips side to side. She wanted to, it would be fun right? Teenagers did this sort of thing all the time. "Like a test? To see if I can study when I'm a baked cupcake?

Echo wanted to smack herself for not thinking of something so easy. “I’m a seventh year and I never thought of that.” She sighed, rubbing her temple to hopefully calm the headache that was slowly taking over in her head. “I’ve just done this and this is kind of one of the only times I’ve dropped them.” She grabbed her wand from her robe and said the spell, watching her books began to float. “You’re a life saver, literally.”

"The amount of books I've checked out of the library, and at one time. It's a wonder I didn't think of it sooner." Astra smiled. She let the books in her arms go watching them join the rest she'd cast the spell on. "Are you researching something?"

"Immensely." Shay gave a sheepish grin, "Yes—it was the perfect hiding spot! Don’t judge me Ash."

"I'm just, wow. Isn't she a prefect?" Astra said, composing herself.

As she looked at the books that tumbled from her arms, she quickly bent down to pick them up. Her face flushed with embarrassment as everyone who walked by stared at her accident. “Thank you. “The brunette said, as she stacked the books one more. “Maybe next time I should know not to get so many..”

"Nonsense, all you need is the levitation spell." Astra suggested holding the books she gathered to her chest so they wouldn't fall once more. "Trust me, I tried everything. Trolley's, book boys -eventually I just mastered the spell and had them travelling along behind me in perfect order."

"Because you’re cute. Yes expensive chocolate right." Shay sighed but shrugged, "I have more though. No I haven’t! But I don’t want her to know I put it there..it would ruin my hiding spot. I don’t think Alli smok—um eats chocolate that much though."

"I am?" Astra listened to Shay, slowly catching on to what the girl had been really saying this whole time. "Shayla!" She gasped, "You've been hiding your stash under Alli's bed?"

With books in her hands that are stacked high above her head, Echo tries to make her way through the crowd of students without any accidents. As soon as she’s about to turn the corner, her books fall from her hands and onto the floor. "Oh Merlin. Can’t I get a break?" She muttered to herself, not thinking anyone would hear.

Astra had been walking behind the girl, watching as the tall pile of books swayed unsteadily in her arms. Without having to think Astra crouched down to help her collect the books that had landed on the floor. "Oh don't worry, it happens to the best of us."

"Sweets?" Shay asked before letting out a laugh. "Yeah, it was really high grade chocolate too. Good thing I keep a back up—I hide it under Alli’s mattress without her knowing."

"Why are you laughing? If I lost my expensive chocolate I would be devastated." Astra frowned. "Have you asked Alli? Maybe she found it and assumed it was her own."
