This just happened on my facebook feed. These are grown ass adults around my age. I know I was a bit rude and insulting with my “jokes.” But I’m tired of having to play nice and hand hold with people who are being assholes. If you’re gonna be an asshole, I’m going to be one right back, and you have no right to complain. Red is OP. Blue and green are his friends who defended him. I’ve blurred myself out. The censorship is for their and my personal protection because I don’t want anyone to be harassed, but I do think it’s important to post this. For myself at least. I want people to restore my hope in humanity by reblogging this…

"Where did you hide it?!"

"I don’t remember, I swear!" Pierce replied, putting his hands up in defense.

Since their fight, he had been as nice as he could to Helena. He even went so far as to try and offer his services around the castle. That little action lead him to where he is now, Helena glaring at him as he stood there defenseless. He had helped the workers go around the castle and clean until he had gotten to Helena’s room. Unlike the normal staff, he went in without a moments notice. Cleaning it, organizing it, ruining it in her perspective probably, he had thrown out a few things. Things he didn’t think she’d need or things he didn’t know the use for.

"What are you even asking for?" He backed up against the wall, taking a quick glance at it. There was a bit of a crowd now, the other workers peeking at Helena’s loud yell.

The cabinet door creaked loudly, but didn’t give quiet yet. Still, the wood seemed old and… slightly burned in places.

"Done. Anything you want, but please just HURRY UP AND OPEN IT!" Helena pleaded, clasping her hands together tightly as if begging him still. "Friends, friends with benefits, I don’t give a shit, I just need what’s in that cabinet SOON."

Putting a bit more strength into his movement, Pierce glanced at Helena and said, “I.. don’t want that much.. What’s in here anyways?” 

Slowing down a bit, but not visibly, he didn’t want to accidentally open it before finding out what could make her so crazy. If he had to, he might tell Zelda and help Helena over come whatever this is. Shaking his head a bit, he started to question his motives. He wanted to be friends again and she was offering herself up on a silver platter. He didn’t want that though. Having something handed to you didn’t make it feel as good as working for it. He’d help her with this and use it to make up to her for his actions lately, but he wouldn’t use it beyond that. He still had a lot to make up for.

When she told him what was in here, he’d force it open fully.

Helena whimpered, wrapping her arms around herself defensively. “It’s my liquor cabinet, okay? Now please…” When her hands started to shake violently, the shadow had to take pause, easing herself into a nearby chair slowly. “I… it’s been a few hours… not allowed to drink on the job… Just open the door, please…” She muttered, slouching where she sat.

Glancing at her with pity evident in his eyes, Pierce put all of his strength into his blade to rip open the door. He may not agree with her addiction but he knew that she had a lot of darkness inhabiting her mind. The pain she felt, anyone could easily spot it. Mentally vowing to help her best he can with her inner turmoil, he decided to start with this liquor. It'd get to her, but he'd help her lose her addiction if he could.

When the door finally came free, by no small part, Pierce had to relax for a few moments. Whoever had built this cabinet had done it well. "There.." He panted out, sliding his blade back into it's sheath. "You.. go..." How was he so winded from one cabinet door, he started to wonder. He had no idea that this was possible until it had happened.

"Where did you hide it?!"

"I don’t remember, I swear!" Pierce replied, putting his hands up in defense.

Helena shot him a glare,but that soon gave way to an almost desperate frown. “Listen… I know I’ve done some shit, but please… if you can open this door, I will give you ANYTHING you want. Please. I’m fucking desperate here…” She said, running over to him once more, pulling on his sleeve like a needy child.

Pierce looked down at Helena and back at the cabinet. He didn’t know what was in it but it could have the power to destroy the universe for all he cared. Wanting to patch up his relationship with Helena, he flashed her a big, caring smile and said, “I’ll open it. All I want is for us to be friends again.”

Walking towards the cabinet, he pulled out a forearm’s length blade and stabbing it in between the space between the cabinet door and the edge. He was going to try and jimmy the lock, if not cut it with his sharp blade. If that didn’t work, he could get soul edge and just cut the door off it’s hinges. Wait.. what was he thinking? How in the earth could he use Soul Edge for such a minor task? That was very irresponsible.

The sound of her yanking open several drawers could be heard, almost pulling them right out of the desk from the sound of it. A faint whimper could be heard among the chaos, until finally a series of metallic clacking noises could be heard.

"C’mon… one of these has to open this damn thing…" She muttered frantically, practically slamming her fists against the cabinet door.

Moving close to the door slowly, Pierce looked into the bedroom. He watched her slam her fists against said door before he took a step into the room. “Can.. I help in anyway?” He asked, sheepishly. He truly felt bad about losing the key of hers alongside all his other feelings, which made him feel like leaving and never coming back. However, that would accomplish nothing and would just leave bad feelings between the two.

"There was a key. It was small and sort of a dull grey and it was about the size of my finger. If I don’t find that key you are going to be seeing some VERY unpleasant things from me soon." The shadow said, her eyes bloodshot and her hands trembling. She grabbed the collar of his shirt, though she couldn’t keep a very hard grip on it due to her weakened state.

Worry visible in his eyes, he quickly started to go through the event of cleaning her room for any memory of said key. He had found a couple of keys in her room but none of them stood out with those features. Scratching the back of his head, he continued with, “I found a couple.. I put them in one of the drawers at your desk. The one with the giant mirror.” 

Pierce had no wish to get on Helena’s bad side again and it looked like this had gotten him even farther away then before. Why oh why did he always screw up in some way or form? He can’t do anything! If.. if only his father was around to guide him again.
