i wanna talk about how the first person yennefer immediately goes to after saving ciri is, without any hesitation, jaskier. and he, too, rushes over to her and nobody else.

okay i'm gonna go out on a whim and say it's because she trusts him the most, even with all the big strong witchers around that would be a million times better to physically protect and help her. but jaskier - he is the only one who truly cares about her as a person, as a human and elf, not just as a mage. he makes an effort to understand her pain and struggles, something nobody else does.

but he never pities or underestimates her because of it. their complete and utter mutual respect for one another is something neither of them share with another character.

to him, it doesn't matter if she's lost her magic, it has not made her weak or untalented. she is still yennefer. the very sexy but insane witch, and she is still "so scary".

i adore practically all witcher ships, but their relationship dynamic, whether you see it as platonic or not, is just so very healthy and sweet. ❤
