😭 The beach scene in The Dragon Prince almost broke me. Claudia gave up so much, sacrificed so much... and Viren dismissed everything she'd done as if it meant nothing. In that moment, whatever sympathy I still had for him disappeared. Terry left her too, and she pushed him away. And all I could think was... this should have been the moment Aaravos appeared. Who, if not him, would understand what it means to lose everything? To be abandoned. To have no one left. These two simply make too much sense together.

⭐ Based on my preferences, ChatGPT recommended The Dragon Prince. And HOLY SHIT... Everything was... fine, I guess, until HE showed up. Aaravos. A character with that much mystery and depth had absolutely no chance of escaping my attention. And that voice... God, I have such a weakness for villains with deep, velvety voices. (Yeah... I may have developed a slight obsession with Alex Lee's voice.) Honestly, Aaravos and Claudia single-handedly dragged this show out of the trash bin I was already about to throw it into. The rest of the cast, with maybe the exception of the silent Maya, feels painfully bland and predictable. Just another bunch of heroic heroes heroically saving the world... what a load of bullshit. God... I NEED more "villains" like this Startouch Elf.

I've been sitting on this "gold in the shadows" idea for quite a while, but I just couldn't find the right person to make it work.

Then, out of nowhere, I remembered the wonderful Michele Loconte.

My God... he's absolutely PERFECT for these golden patterns across the skin! I'm genuinely so excited just thinking about it.

I specifically wanted to paint Michele himself, not his Mozart persona. That version of him has a different mood, at least to me.

Damn... I'm so happy this brought all those memories back. Mozart, l'Opéra Rock, musicals, Loconte... Those were such wonderful days.

Idle hands are the Devil's workshop. The impossible dream of every Overseer. How many of these bearers of the Outsider's Mark are there, anyway? Eight? Perhaps. But every heretic must be brought to justice. Truth be told, I've never been much of an Overseer fan. Maybe it's because I bear the Mark myself... heh. Still, they're fascinating in their own right and absolutely worth exploring. Then again, that's true of nearly every corner of Dishonored's world.

Lady Boyle's Last Party remains one of the most atmospheric and memorable missions in gaming for me.

I recently realized that in nearly fifteen years, I've never once drawn Lydia, Esma, or Waverly Boyle. Somehow, I always end up circling back to the Outsider and Emily, with a small side obsession involving Daud.

But Dishonored's supporting cast is every bit as intriguing and memorable as its protagonists. Sometimes, I'd even argue they're more interesting.

And I hope you'll forgive my shameless addiction to chromatic aberration. It's become my newest artistic vice.

🍅 I’m a huge fan of *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*. Much of that is down to Alfonso Cuarón. My goodness, what a production this film is!! The cinematography, sound design and overall style. I genuinely believe this is the BEST film of all the Harry Potter film adaptations! And you won’t be able to change my mind!

Like so many others, I was simply captivated by MAPHRA. She’s got such a crazy voice! WOW! And she looks absolutely stunning herself. I just couldn’t walk past her! Plus, it’s a great chance to have a go at drawing sparkly things in the WLOP style.

Just a quiet, cozy evening for Frank and Karen. A moment where, for a little while, Frank doesn’t have to be the Punisher. A moment where neither of them has to carry the weight of worrying about everyone else.

I’m sure there was a time when Frank Castle could talk about his feelings out loud. But years of bloodshed wore that skill away. Actions, not words, are what guide him now.

Karen knows words can lie. She works with words. Actions speak louder.

So this isn’t just a cup of coffee.

A person whose face I only discovered fairly recently, even though I’ve known of him for over 12 years now. (Sadly, not personally.)

Co-founder of Arkane Studios, founder and head of WolfEye Studios, and one of the godfathers of the immersive sim genre. Easily one of the coolest people in the gaming industry, and simply a genuinely handsome and pleasant man.

One of the key creators behind at least two of my all-time favorite games: Dishonored and “Typhon” (PREY 2017).

Come to think of it, I’ve seen almost Norman Reedus entire filmography. But the first, and probably only truly great character for me is Daryl Dixon (who would’ve thought?). And I won’t lie, I definitely have a weakness for men on cool motorcycles. It’s such a cliché, but I honestly don’t care.

I just can’t resist the urge to draw kastle in chibi style. They look so incredibly endearing like this! It’s hard to imagine them looking any cuter! I also can’t help but notice that ‘Never Too Late’ fits their story all too well.

Karen Page x Frank Castle - The Punisher/ Daredevil I finally finished this kastle artwork! And damn, it was not easy. But I’m really happy with how it turned out, mostly because I feel like I managed to capture what these characters are supposed to be going through. Karen and Frank’s relationship is anything but simple. They’re more than friends, and the tension between them is definitely there, but they’re not lovers either (tragically. Deeply tragically). But honestly, that’s part of what makes them so compelling. The way The Punisher always softens around Karen. The way Karen supports Frank... there’s something so warm and deeply human about it that no romance movie has ever really managed to capture for me. And especially not Karen and Matt’s (Daredavil) relationship. Sorry, but to me there’s never been anything there beyond friendship / something almost sibling-like.
