Obi Wan is a good person because he would never say he's a good person
I have the belief that any real good person would never outloud say they are a good person, good people are intelligent, good people have the willingness to learn, thus good people can understand they have flaws too.
This may be contradictory as he sometimes tend to be willingly blind to the Jedi orders admitadly slightly flawed ways but the way he sometimes admits/thinks hes not a good master and he couldve done more directly proves mes much better than an otherwise master who would say they are the best their padawan had and refuse to acknowladge the mistakes they did.
Maybe im reading too much into it, need to rewatch star wars asap.
