Local reminder that other people have tried to trick and basically overthrow this guy. Just so their wishes could be granted. Doesn't seem like he's getting mad at the good of the people it seems more like a guy finally snapping after telling someone no and they're just persistently asking. Would you not get angry too?

I’m not arguing or debating abt this, she didn’t say people should blindly get their wishes granted, their passions were taken away and they lost themselves and they’re giving their wishes under false pretenses so a man can have power over them. She didn’t say “all wishes should be granted”, she said “then give them back their wishes if you don’t plan to grant them so they can work hard for it themselves” (assuming no one payed attention, her friend was a shell of his former self bc of forgetting what made him passionate and lively)

And by the end of the film, Asha gives poeple resources to follow their dreams, not instantly gift them.

So, I didn't exactly expect a reply, but I guess you're right in some aspects. I've only seen, like, clips and analysis video and tried to draw my own conclusions from there.So, I guess my opinion would be a bit biased. But that's mostly from my perspective of what was going on within the movie. That and my general sympathy towards characters, that I think had been dealt the short end of the stick.

It’s better to see the film yourself instead of YouTubers who thrive on exaggerating films bc they find it bad. Wish isn’t great by any means but it’s really not as bad as ppl say, just a little bland but I enjoy it personally as is

Yea it is actually. I barely have energy for writing fanfic, which is why I haven't posted anything recently. I sure as hell don't have the energy or time to learn to art.

That’s a dumbass excuse. “I barely have energy”?? Open notes app on your phone, you can do it in bed. And you CAN learn art whenever you have the time. It’s not hard to do a quick sketch every few minutes.

Don’t try this excuse to use tools that steal from Artist and ruin the environment.

SO MUCH I love about this one little scene:

Roz's programming visually shuts off the task we saw Pinktail initiate when Roz first meets her. Rainbow lights and all.

Roz's body language is so on point. Meek at first. She's trying to be polite; reasonable. She knows he's upset with her. Brightbill NEEDS to do this, but he won't let her help. What else can she do?

"Are you going to let him do that?" Fink asks, but also not-so-subtly side-eyes her to make sure she says the right thing.

NO SHE'S NOT. In an active overreach of her programming, Roz puts on the best Mom Voice™ that we've heard so far with that 'no'. She has a kid to protect.
